Students are required to have strong political quality and political acumen, systematically master the basic theory of international relations, the history and present situation of international relations, have solid professional knowledge, strong ability to analyze and solve problems, good Chinese literacy and practical ability to use foreign languages. This major has three research directions: international politics, international culture and communication, and international law. Graduates can engage in relevant research, teaching or practical work in state government agencies, foreign-related enterprises and institutions, and scientific research and teaching institutions.
The academic system is two years, and the master of law degree is awarded.
