1In the second half of 923, the Fourth Division of Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province established a rural normal branch school in Qixia, and established an affiliated primary school. 1927, deeply influenced by Tao Xingzhi's educational thought, Mr. Huang Zhifu was appointed by the Ministry of Education of the National Government to take over as the principal of Qixia Rural Normal School of Nanjing Middle School. After Mr. Huang Zhifu came to Qixia, he put forward the educational slogan of "turning the fools of thousands of peasants and workers in Qian Qian into fools, saving millions of villages and winning the face of the whole country". He hired excellent teachers, mingled with the society, insisted on combining education with practice, attached importance to labor education, strictly managed life, vigorously developed vocational education, and vigorously promoted "compulsory" education (meaning that every rural teacher's student has the obligation to educate villagers), which attracted people from all walks of life. Celebrities such as Chen Lifu, Lv Fengzi, Xu Beihong and Zhu Kezhen visited the school one after another, and the reputation of Qixia Town Teachers College soared. Qixia Rural Normal University, which was originally affiliated to Nanjing Middle School, also established Qixia Rural Normal University in Jiangsu Province. 1937, Nanjing fell, and Qixia Town Normal University was forced to close. Mr. Huang Zhifu personally led some former township teachers to the Guizhou-Guangxi Plateau and founded the National Guizhou Normal School, which has made indelible contributions to changing the backward appearance of ethnic minority areas. 1949, Township Teachers College resumed its operation and was renamed Zhenjiang Rural Teachers College. 1956, after completing the historical mission of cultivating rural basic education talents, the township teachers' college was abolished and Nanjing Qixia Middle School was established. In April 2002, Qixia Middle School was awarded as a key middle school in Nanjing. In April 2004, she successfully passed the acceptance of "Nanjing Two-star High School". In July 2007, it merged with alkyl benzene middle school. After the integration, Qixia Middle School has 29 high school classes and 27 junior high school classes, with nearly 2 100 students and more than 240 in-service teachers, including 53 middle and senior teachers, and 5 famous teachers and academic leaders at or above the district level.
