My name is XXX. I used to be introverted, lacking self-confidence and being timid. Especially in class, teachers are afraid of making mistakes when asking questions, and the voice of answering is very small.

Now I don't want to transform myself into a lively, cheerful and optimistic child through the exercise of running for class monitor. I hope my classmates will trust me and give me this opportunity to exercise.

This campaign for monitor reminds me of the just-concluded election of the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Mr Donald Tsang's campaign slogan is "I will do this job well". Here, I also promise you "I will do this job well".

If I am elected monitor, I will unite with other class cadres. Qi Xin will work together to improve class discipline, hygiene and academic performance, safeguard class honor, and carry out colorful activities to enhance students' sense of collective honor. At the same time, I will mobilize and organize students with good grades to take the initiative to help students with unsatisfactory grades, so that everyone's grades can be improved, because learning is our students' main task.

If I am elected monitor, I will become a bridge between teachers and classmates. Sometimes, students have some ideas about teachers or schools, but they are afraid to say them. Misunderstandings accumulate in the bottom of my heart, and I gradually feel disgusted with the teacher, thus affecting the relationship between teachers and students and greatly reducing the learning efficiency. At this time, I will give my classmates' opinions back to the teacher in time, and I will also communicate the teacher's ideas with my classmates in time. In this way, our class will become an excellent class.

If I lose the election, it means that I still have many shortcomings. I will constantly correct myself, strive for progress, never lose heart, and try again next time.
