On the afternoon of February 4, 65438, the school held a class meeting in the classroom of the teaching building with the theme of "practicing low-carbon life and creating a green campus". Teachers such as Wang, Xu and all the students took part in the activity.
The activity showed us various problems faced by the earth's environment with multiple sets of slides and video materials, interpreted the environment we depend on from a unique perspective, and closely linked with our daily life. The results of nearly 300 questionnaires distributed in our school not long ago were carefully analyzed and discussed. From the use of plastic bags, disposable chopsticks, printing paper and computers, the amount of carbon sources we emit every day is amazing. The low-carbon sitcoms "Brother Sharp", "Nightclub" and "Rules before Love" written and performed by students have profound meanings, which make everyone have a deeper understanding of low carbon in a humorous atmosphere.
During the activity, the discussion between teachers and students was extremely active. From Copenhagen to our daily life, students speak freely and passionately to express their understanding and views on low-carbon life. The teachers present also expounded their views on low-carbon issues one by one. Teacher Wang pointed out that a low-carbon life is to reduce the energy consumed during work and rest as much as possible, thus reducing carbon dioxide emissions. For us ordinary people, a low-carbon life is an attitude rather than an ability. We should actively advocate and practice low-carbon life, start from scratch, pay attention to nodes, save fuel and save solar terms. Teacher Zhang also pointed out that from the perspective of saving resources and energy, protecting the environment and reducing carbon emissions, achieving low carbon is not only a major event, but also a good thing. If environmental protection concepts such as protecting the environment, protecting animals and saving energy and resources have become the code of conduct, then low-carbon life is a green lifestyle that we urgently need to establish. Xu teacher emphasized that cultivating low-carbon awareness in life is not only the current social trend, but also the embodiment of personal social responsibility. To do this well, we can't just shout slogans. As college students, we should set an example and take the lead.
The purpose of this activity is to "put forward and publicize the concept of' low-carbon campus' to all students", publicize the knowledge of low-carbon economy and low-carbon life, further promote energy conservation, emission reduction and low-carbon consumption reduction, continuously improve students' awareness of resource worries and conservation, and build a green campus. Call on students to participate in low-carbon economic life, build a low-carbon harmonious campus, and contribute to the active construction of Guangzhou Asian Games, "green campus", "civilized campus" and "harmonious campus".
The series of activities of "practicing low-carbon life and creating a green campus" aims to improve students' awareness of environmental protection; Enrich after-school life, guide and encourage students to practice in their own study, life, work and practice through practical actions. Through our activities, we encourage more people to better understand the significance and feasible methods of low-carbon life, share the experience and skills of energy conservation and emission reduction, and personally feel the impact of low-carbon on individuals, society and environment, so that people can finally start with a small step of change, turn off less lights and walk more, establish a good green life concept or living habits, and gradually put them into action to create a better life with our low carbon.
In this activity, * * * received dozens of ideas for low-carbon life, which is practical: replace the lights with energy-saving lamps. Although the price of energy-saving lamps may be more expensive, their service life is 10 times of the former, and their energy consumption is 1/4 to 1/5 of the former. It is suggested that every family should use solar water heaters, so that the sun, a renewable energy source, can give full play to its great role. Use less paper towels and disposable daily necessities ... 10 More than one environmental protection and energy-saving work and 10 more than one low-carbon painting are transformed from old clothes. A total of 64 teachers and students in the class participated in this social practice and received the expected results. It consists of four links: on-site question and answer, keynote speech, newspaper bridging and "turning waste into treasure" works display. The students' careful preparation made the event wonderful again and again. In the field quiz, with extensive knowledge, many groups passed the required questions and risk questions with full marks; In the keynote speech, the contestants expressed their understanding and feelings about low-carbon life, and vivid life examples made people think deeply. In the bridge-building activities of the newspaper, the contestants showed their magical powers and made bridges of different shapes with simple materials and tools. Among them, the bridge made by Bai Zengxian achieved the best result in this link with a load of 600g; In the exhibition of "Turning Waste into Treasure", students gave full play to their imagination and creativity, and produced amazing works, such as fashionable environmental protection clothes, exquisite plastic bags and exquisite pen containers made of pencil tips, which were impressive.
Through various forms, let students understand low-carbon knowledge, achieve energy conservation and low-carbon, and take practical actions to save energy, reduce emissions and protect the environment.
The class also decided to organize "beautifying the campus" activities, mobilizing volunteers to carry out environmental protection and thrifty activities such as sweeping roads, removing white garbage, eradicating small advertisements, recycling waste batteries, and saving water and electricity in public places such as campus, teaching buildings, dormitories and restaurants.
The successful convening of this theme class meeting has made us fundamentally understand the low-carbon life, which is of great significance. I hope everyone can start from now, start from themselves, live a low-carbon life and protect the environment.
