Why can't the network connect after reinstalling the system?
Then you must establish a network connection again.

Make your specific situation clear.

Is it a router or a switch?

Step 1: Set the IP address and gateway of the computer.

The setting of ADSL is realized by accessing its setting page through a browser. The default IP address of ADSL is192.168.1.1. As long as we set the IP address of the computer connected with ADSL to the same network segment as ADSL, we can enter the ADSL setting page. Specifically, we set the IP address of the computer to192.5438+06438.50006066x, which is generally greater than 2, and the gateway to192.168. Then open the browser and enter the IP address of ADSL in the address bar, that is, 192. 1. 1, and you can access ADSL. The IP address is set here to access ADSL, and the gateway is set here to access the Internet.

Step 2: Enter the default user name and password.

User name and verification password are required to enter ADSL setup network. The default user name of Huawei MT800 is admin, and the default password is also lowercase admin. Note that this user name and password is not the user name and password in the telecom company, but the user name and password of ADSL equipment. After the input is correct, you can enter the ADSL setting page.

Step 3: Enter the ATM page to set the route.

Click the ATM link to enter the settings page. Find the connection type option and select the single option for PPP. At this point, the PPP settings will be expanded at the bottom of the page. Set the user name and password in PPP settings. The user name and password here are your account number and password in telecom (or other ISP), which are set here for automatic dialing when ADSL is turned on.

Step 4: Set the function of automatically assigning IP addresses, that is, DHCP function.

Every computer on the network has a separate IP address, and the IP address of each computer is unique in the same network. Usually when we surf the Internet, the computer is set to automatically obtain the IP address, that is, when the computer is connected to the Internet, the server will automatically assign a unique IP address to the computer, just like the floor, row number and seat number indicated on the ticket when you enter the cinema. However, in some local area networks, in order to facilitate software communication, fixed IP addresses are adopted, that is, each computer has a fixed IP address, and the same IP address will not appear in the same network, just like every room in a building has a fixed number. If your network adopts the former IP address allocation method, you need to turn on the automatic IP address allocation service function of ADSL, that is, set DHCP. On the DHCP page, simply select the DHCP server option.

Step 5: Set up DNS

Select the DNS page, and set the DNS provided by the telecom company (or other ISP) in ADSL, which can generally be set to 202. 10 1.224.68.

Step 6: Save the settings.

The above settings need to be saved before they can take effect. Select the Save page to save the settings. Then close the browser and turn off the power of ADSL at the same time. The original settings will take effect the next time you turn on the power.

Step 7: Modify the computer settings.

If you choose DCHP function, you need to modify the IP address you just modified to set up ADSL. Select the IP address of the computer to automatically obtain the IP address, and add the IP address of ADSL, namely192.168.1.1,to the gateway.

Step 8: Restart the computer, turn on the ADSL power, and you can browse the Internet at will.

Safety tip: After the routing function of ADSL is turned on, your account number and password are saved in ADSL, which is easy to be stolen by others. Therefore, it is best to modify the default password of ADSL before saving the settings in the fifth step, that is, change the default password "admin" of MT800 to other passwords to avoid being easily accessed by others into your ADSL settings interface.

Upgrade software: Some versions of ADSL provided by telecom companies do not have the above interface, for example, the version number is V100P007C01B010SP01. At this time, you can refresh your ADSL with other versions of software just like upgrading the computer BIOS. In fact, it was refreshed with a lower version of software, generally the version number is V100R06C01B010Sp02. The process of refreshing is relatively simple. Find the corresponding software and follow the prompts in ADSL's "Software Upgrade" interface. If your ADSL model happens to be Huawei MT800, you can download the software upgrade directly.

Other operations: enter the corresponding parameters in the address bar or enter the corresponding setting interface, that is, enter:192.168.1/mainpage? Id=X, and the value of x is shown in the following table:

Set the IP address of ADSL to another value.

If you have set up a small LAN, the IP address of 192. 168. 1 is likely to be occupied by the server. You can set the IP address of ADSL to other values in ATM settings, such as192.168.1.2, or you can set the IP address in the local area network. In other words, the IP address of ADSL is the address of the gateway. If the gateway address is set incorrectly, it will not be able to access the Internet.

As can be seen from the above table, there are many ADSL settings, but these are what we often use. Some functions, such as IP address filtering, are also good, but we generally don't use them. .

The switch is basically the same as above.
