There are no letters o and I to avoid confusion with the numbers 1 and 0. When applying for a license plate in China, the letters O and I are not allowed, so I only see 1 and 0.

In addition, I and O are skipped in the arrangement of cities or other prefecture-level administrative regions, and O is often used as police cars or government agencies.

According to article 5.9. 1 of People's Republic of China (PRC)'s current motor vehicle license plate standard "GA36-2007", "English letters can be used for each digit of serial number, but O and I in 26 letters cannot be used.

Don't use O, I as China. Of course, in some English-speaking countries, if the license plate is "20 1", it can be read as "twozeroone" or "twoOone", and it can be considered that there is no difference.
