Step 2: Port mapping (two configuration methods are provided below, one of which is enough).
1, UPnP automatic port mapping
Description:
One requirement of this setting is that the router should support UPnP, so please confirm whether the router you are using supports this function first. If UPnP is supported, you can refer to the following settings. If UPnP is not supported, please strictly follow the port mapping in point 2.
The operation steps are as follows:
Log in to the router configuration interface, turn on the UPnP function, enter the device local configuration interface, and enable UPn.
Refresh the port and see that the status is displayed as "valid".
2. Router port mapping
Log in to the router's configuration interface and find the virtual server (or port mapping) and the mapped port (the device defaults to three ports, 80,800,554, which can be modified on the device, and the three ports must be mapped at the same time.
If there are multiple monitoring devices on the same router, please use port numbers to distinguish them, and ports cannot be reused.
Step 3: Configure a custom domain name?
1, quick configuration
Click the right mouse button and select Quick Configuration-> Fast internet configuration.
Check Enable DDNS to set the device domain name (user-defined, only lowercase letters, numbers and "-"signs are supported, and must start with lowercase letters, which is required) and mobile phone number (required for subsequent value-added services). When the device status is displayed as online, the automatically generated access address can be used to access the device.
Note: Before configuring Hikon DDNS, it is necessary to ensure that the device is normally connected to the public network.
note:
1. If the device accesses the public network through the router, it is necessary to turn on the UPnP function of the router, configure the UPnP parameters of the device, or map the ports on the router. ?
2. If the configuration fails, it may be because the network is blocked or the domain name conflicts. Please check the network first. If the network is normal, then try to modify other domain names.
3. Device access
Open IE browser and enter/customize the domain name directly in the address bar. For example, the device domain name is configured as test 12345, and directly enter /test 12345 to directly link to the device login interface.
Open the iVMS-4500 mobile phone client and enter the "Device Management" interface to add devices. Enter the registered device domain name (for example, test 12345) at the device alias, and select DDNS as the registration type. The default DNS address is www.hik-online.com and the port is 80 (fixed). Enter the user name and password of the device, and then enter the preview interface for preview after saving.
