Qingzhou No.1 Middle School, formerly known as Song Lin Academy, was called Aisong Garden in Song Dynasty. The first generation of Sanyuanji Wang Zeng (AD 977- 1038) studied here as a teenager. There is a "Wang Reading Desk" in the garden, also known as "Wang Zeng Reading Desk". "Songtao in Academy" is one of the eight scenic spots in ancient Qingzhou. This sacred place has been learning for thousands of years, and string songs are constantly being played. In the late Qing Dynasty, western learning spread to the east, and Song Lin Academy was changed to Qingzhou government middle school on 1902. 19 12, renamed Qingzhou Middle School. 19 13, renamed as Shandong No.15 Middle School. 19 14, renamed Shandong No.10 Middle School. 1945, renamed Yidu Middle School. 1948, renamed Shandong Qingzhou Middle School. 1952, renamed Shandong Yidu No.1 Middle School. 1986 changed its name to Qingzhou No.1 Middle School in Shandong Province, which has been in use ever since. Today, Song Lin Academy has become an important base of traditional culture, clean government culture and moral education in Qingzhou No.1 Middle School.

On the campus of Qingzhou No.1 Middle School, there is an antique courtyard called Song Lin Academy. The academy was built during the reign of Renzong in the Northern Song Dynasty. It was named "Dwarf Pine Garden" because two kinds of Gu Song plants with short stems and wide branches were planted in the college. During Zheng De's reign in Ming Dynasty, it was renamed "Song Lin Academy", which is still in use today. According to the historical story of Qingzhou, Song Renzong once presented the "Dwarf Pine Garden" with the Five Classics and Four Books as a royal gift, and told the states to follow Qingzhou's example and run Confucianism, thinking that the imperial court would train talents. In the fifth year of Chenghua in Ming Xianzong (1469), Li Ang, the magistrate of Qingzhou, moved the "Ming Guan Dian" to the left of the government instrument gate, built it in the short pine garden, renamed it "Ming Guan Dian", and sacrificed 13 Qingzhou magistrates, including Kou Zhun, Fan Zhongyan, Ouyang Xiu and other famous politicians and scholars. In the tenth year of Ming Dynasty, Zhu Jian, the magistrate of Qingzhou, moved to the "Xiangxian Hall" to worship 56 local celebrities such as Wang Zeng and Shi. "Song Lin Academy", as an ancient resort for reading and educating people, gave birth to the famous Confucianism, which was favored by people in the ruling and opposition circles. After thousands of years of vicissitudes, Song Lin Academy was known as one of the eight scenic spots in Qingzhou as early as the Ming Dynasty. At the end of Qing Dynasty, influenced by western learning, Song Lin Academy was changed to Qingzhou public middle school, which is now the predecessor of Qingzhou No.1 Middle School. During the Republic of China, Cai Yuanpei, the chief education officer, inscribed the plaque "Diligence, Prayer and Courage" as the school motto, and hung high in the school gate from then on. After liberation, the school was reborn. 1986, officially named Qingzhou No.1 Middle School in Shandong Province.
