That is, "lead and unite the people of all ethnic groups in China, take economic construction as the center, adhere to the four cardinal principles, persist in reform and opening up, and work hard to build China into a prosperous, strong, democratic and civilized socialist modern country." The core content of this route can be summarized as "one center and two basic points". 1992, when Deng Xiaoping visited the south, he stressed: "The basic line must be managed for a hundred years and cannot be shaken." The 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of China clearly put forward the slogan of "unswervingly adhering to the Party's basic line". The 15th National Congress of the Communist Party of China solemnly pointed out: At the historical moment of pushing our cause into the 21st century in an all-round way, "the whole party should unswervingly adhere to the Party's basic line in the primary stage of socialism."
