brief introduction
In Yunnan, there is such a place.
It is located in the west of Yunnan, bordering Myanmar on the north, west and south, and the city is full of unique buildings.
The integration of ethnic cultures here is colorful, with warm flowers and fruits in all seasons, and the residents are sincere, hospitable, enthusiastic and kind.
This is the most mentioned place in the Origin of Flavor directed by Chen Xiaoqing!
The popularity here is by no means high, but all the tourists who have come here are full of praise.
This is Yunnan Dehong.
Dehong is a transliteration of Dai language, followed by De, and macro is Nujiang, which means "the lower reaches of Nujiang".
Many people love Xishuangbanna's rich Dai customs and immerse themselves in the purity of Pu 'er. However, Yunnan also has the treasure of Dehong, without losing Banna or Pu 'er.
In the past two years, more and more friends have learned about this city full of ethnic customs and various delicacies.

Dream shwedagon pagoda
Mangshi, the capital of Dezhou, is called "Menghuan" in Dai language, which means "City of Dawn". It is said that the Buddha came here before dawn, so he was named "Dream".
The landmark of mangshi is the Dream Pagoda.
Menghuan Shwedagon Pagoda is located at the top of Rhealang Mountain, with an altitude of1079.6m in the southeast of mangshi.
It is the "spiritual pillar" of the Dai people living here, and it also attracts monks and believers from many neighboring countries to visit.
The road leading to the Golden Pagoda is surrounded by two golden dragons, two elephant statues become guardians, and dozens of monk statues are arranged in turn from the door.
Walking around the pagoda and immersed in various statues and stories behind the pagoda, the more you can appreciate the grandeur of the golden pagoda.
As night falls, the city is decorated with lights, and the Shwedagon Pagoda is brightly lit, as if it were the guardian of the city.
Dream silver tower
The Dream Silver Pagoda is also the Great Silver Pagoda in mangshi, close to the Shwedagon Pagoda, but totally different in temperament.
History and connotation are not so profound. 20 10 was completed and opened on 20 10, but it's really nice here.
The silver tower is solid, so it can only be seen from the outside. This tower has a symmetrical beauty. Wind chimes are hung at the top of each tower. When the wind blows, it makes a very pleasant sound.
It is a good place to watch the sunset and overlook the downtown area of mangshi, and it is also a good place to overlook the Shwedagon Pagoda.
pagoda
Many people don't know that the official name of Baoshu Pagoda is "Tiecheng Pagoda".
This Dai-style stupa was built by Chief mangshi more than 200 years ago to commemorate the victory of a war. Later, a banyan seed accidentally fell here, and the pagoda was gradually wrapped by banyan.
This banyan tree has been around for more than 200 years, and it is flourishing, blocking the sunshine.
Daigong
The palace of the Dai people is more like a cultural innovation park of the Dai people and various Dai cultures.
The Dai Palace is undoubtedly an excellent place to experience Dai costumes. Wearing Dai costumes will not appear abrupt, but also complement the environment well.
Dai architecture, murals, tapestries, etc. Present Dai's production and life scenes one by one. All kinds of Dai cultural decorations are very suitable for taking pictures.
Mengbana exotic garden
The rare gardens in Mon panas are very strange.
The so-called rarity means that there are many rare plants. Rare plants under national first-class and second-class protection, such as Alsophila spinulosa, Cycas, Ginkgo biloba, Dendrobium, Antlers, Boxwood, Cinnamomum camphora, Rosette and Tooth Nest.
Strange refers to the living root carving with strange shapes-plumeria, various stalactites, banyan trees shaped like dinosaurs and flower baskets.
Ancient refers to the existing century-old trees, thousand-year-old boxwood, ten thousand-year-old ivory fossils, hundred million-year-old silicified wood and jade.
Strange refers to the strange shapes of plants in the garden, such as stones wrapped around trees, trees wrapped around trees, tree holes and so on.
The free-range peacocks here are a highlight. You can take photos with all kinds of peacocks along the way. Maybe it takes more time to take photos with peacocks than to visit them.
Dumu Cheng Lin
This is an independent tree. From a distance, there is a green forest on the left side of the road. If you look closely, you will find that this forest is actually just a banyan tree.
Dragon is on the edge of National Highway 320 which has just entered Ruili City. It seems to be standing there waiting for tourists from afar, so the locals call it Yingkerong.
This banyan tree is not big, ranking fifth in Dehong Prefecture, but it is favored by many TV dramas because of its strange tree shape and changeable posture.
Such as Beacon in Border Village, Princess Peacock, Handcuffed Passengers, The Journey to the West, etc. It was all shot here.
Chi zai de hong
Director Chen Xiaoqing mentioned Dehong and mangshi many times in his documentary China on the Tip of the Tongue.
This also attracted many old people to fly over to visit this food city.
The price here is very low, and two people can come out sideways after eating dozens of dollars in the snack street.
If you come, don't try. Live like a local, experience the culture of ethnic minorities, try all kinds of delicious food, ride a bike, and talk and laugh in the streets full of fruits and flowers.
If you are visiting Dehong for the first time to taste delicious food, you must try the shops and pavements recommended by local people.
Don't give up just because the stools in the shop are too short and crowded, or because there is no advanced taxi calling system. After all, when you really eat them, you will feel that they are not important.
Come to Dehong, you can't miss that bowl of breakfast.
There are various choices, such as shredded bait, rice flour, noodles, beef soup, braised pork, sour soup, and sometimes a cup of Burmese milk tea.
Whether it is the sour beef near the Manchu-Han banquet, even the breakfast shop or the clear soup beef on the road, it is full of Dehong flavor.
If you like to eat bait, Lin's round bait is the first choice, and locals will also come to the breakfast shop. The special round bait silk and hand-cranked Baba are very good.
A bowl of bait silk can be mixed with 10 kinds of seasonings, which is also Dehong's characteristic.
If you like rice noodles, you must nominate Achang's second-hand rice noodles.
A cooked rice noodle will be served with radish soup, bean curd soup, lettuce, sour soup and various side dishes. Put a ball of rice noodle in the palm of your hand, then put the mixture on the rice noodle, wrap it into a big mouth and send it to your mouth. Cool!
There are countless snacks of various colors, each with its own unique flavor. Full of ups and downs, never boring.
There are also cool and refreshing coconut milk-flavored drinks, such as fresh juice soaked in fruits of Luda and XXL, and Yunnan hand-brewed coffee in various coffee shops, which are all worth a try.
Not to mention the green leaf banquet and peacock banquet, the appearance alone is amazing. They don't want to leave after dinner.
Moreover, Dehong is a border area, and exotic foods can be seen everywhere on the street.
