According to the "Regulations on the Management of Building Decoration", if the decoration of the original house involves dismantling or changing the main structure and obviously increasing the load, it shall be handled in the following ways:

(1) The owner and user of the house must apply to the real estate administrative department where the house is located, and the house safety appraisal unit will review the use safety of the decoration scheme. The real estate administrative department shall decide whether to approve or disapprove within 20 days from the date of accepting the application for house decoration.

(2) The applicant for house decoration shall go through the construction application formalities with the approval letter to the construction administrative department and obtain the construction permit.

(three) the construction unit shall, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the supervision and management of the quality and safety of engineering construction, go through the procedures for the quality and safety supervision of architectural decoration engineering in the quality and safety supervision department where the project is located.
