Hosted by Yanghe New District, it is located in the middle of Suqian City and the east of Sucheng District. It is the Chengguan Town of Yanghe New District and the economic, political, cultural and commercial center town of Yanghe New District. Yanghe Town has a total area of 198.68 square kilometers, governs 12 residential communities and 34 administrative villages with a population of 2170,000. The town government is located in Huangqiao Village.
Yanghe, also known as PaYanghe, was originally the name of a river, which was originally connected with Bailu Lake in Suqian County. Because of its low terrain, it is called a flood corridor. During the flood season, the white waves were monstrous and shaped like the ocean, hence the name. 1954, Yanghe Town People's Government was established. With the approval of the State Council, Yanghe Town and its subordinate Cangji Town and Zhenglou were adjusted from Siyang County to Sucheng District of Suqian City. 20 17 Cancel Cangji Town, Zhenglou Town and Yanghe Town, and establish a new Yanghe Town.
