The site of tunnel warfare is located in Changzhuang Street, Xuecheng District, Zaozhuang City, Shandong Province. The site of tunnel warfare is the only one in southern Shandong, which was excavated in 1965 and is a key cultural relic protection unit in Zaozhuang.

Tunnel warfare is a form of warfare in which our Party led the people to fight through underground tunnels during the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period. It was a way for the anti-Japanese soldiers and civilians to fight against the Japanese aggressors in North China and Jizhong Plain during the period of China and War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression.
