2. Turn over the pruning shears and trim the curves of plants with the reverse side of the pruning shears. Trim the top of the plant and determine the upper curve of the sphere.
3. Let the pruning shears face down, and turn them over again so that their front faces are close to the plants. Cut off the excess branches and leaves at the top and middle of the plant.
4. Trim the branches and leaves of the lower part of the plant into the soil along the shape of the upper part of the plant. In this way, the trimmed ball looks like it is placed on a basin.
5. Sweep back and forth on the spherical boxwood by hand to sweep off the trimmed branches and leaves.
6. Turn the potted boxwood back and forth to check the trimmed sphere, and take a step back to see if the sphere is symmetrical. If you need to trim it, you can trim it a little before you look at it. There may be gaps in the sphere, especially in the upper part, which can only be filled after new branches and leaves grow.
