Therefore, this research is carried out under the background of the current development trend and research status, aiming at the particularity of marine information by using grid technology, and making in-depth research on several key issues in marine information service grid. This paper studies the marine information service grid from the aspects of architecture, standards and specifications, marine information service publishing, service registration and management, real-time integration and comprehensive application of marine information services, which provides important theoretical guidance and method support for the practical process of marine information sharing and integration. This study has important theoretical and practical significance.
(1) Promote the development of marine information services: While studying the semantic expression and description of marine information services, it will inevitably bring new problems and challenges to the standards and mechanisms for the design, description, binding and discovery of marine information services, and promote the development and evolution of marine information services towards semantic marine information services.
(2) Enrich and develop the theories and methods of marine information sharing and integration: data integration is the foundation and the most critical part of marine information integration, method integration is the important content of information integration, and knowledge integration is the highest stage of information integration (Li Haitao, 2007). From these three aspects, this study adopts four advanced technologies: Web service, grid, semantic web and ontology. These three parts are internally related, and the four technologies complement each other, completely realizing multi-directional and multi-level information sharing and integration. At the same time, the corresponding comprehensive integration method is put forward, and the prototype system is developed as the process guidance and tool support of marine information integration. Such horizontal integration content, integration technology, vertical integration methods and tools constitute a relatively complete and practical information integration technical framework and method system.
(3) Enriched and developed the theory and method of MGIS: Marine Geographic Information System (MGIS or Marine GIS for short) (Wang Fang et al., 2007), as a technology and theory to realize the seamless integration of marine data management, spatio-temporal analysis, visualization and other functions, contains a strong integration idea: integrating the management of multi-source and multi-format marine data (both spatial data and attribute data); Integrated a variety of basic statistical methods, advanced spatio-temporal analysis methods and general GIS analysis methods; A variety of visualization methods are integrated. Therefore, integration is the main feature of marine geographic information system. At the same time, marine GIS is also a concentrated expression of the theory and technical level of marine information integration, and a master of marine information integration achievements (Li Haitao, 2007). Therefore, the theory and method of service-based marine information sharing and integration studied in this study is also the theory and method of MGIS to a great extent. The research results of this book will also enrich and develop the theory and method of MGIS.
(4) Promote the development of a new generation of MGIS: A new generation of geographic information system should be an intelligent, popular and distributed system (Yu Fang et al., 200 1), and marine geographic information system is no exception. In this study, the idea of knowledge integration is added, and the latest Web services, semantic web, grid technology and ontology technology are combined to transform the architecture of MGIS, which has greatly improved both technically and ideologically, and has great reference significance for the new generation of MGIS.
(5) Revitalize marine information resources and promote the progress of marine scientific research: The method of marine information service discovery and integration supported by semantics in this study not only improves the efficiency of marine information discovery and integration, but also revitalizes valuable marine information resources, improves the utilization rate of information and saves a lot of time for researchers to find and process information. In addition, "VRMarine" provides an important tool support for marine researchers, which is convenient for them to "one-stop" integrate distributed multi-source marine information services, remote 3D visualization and job analysis, so that they can concentrate their main time and energy on scientific research itself, which is conducive to shortening their scientific research process and creating more and better research results, thus helping to promote the progress of marine scientific research.
(6) Promoting the early realization of the "digital ocean": Since 1998, the slogan of "Digital Earth" was put forward by American Vice President Al Gore, relevant theories and technologies have emerged one after another. As an important part of "Digital Earth", "Digital Ocean" is also the main content of national marine strategy, which has been supported by many national projects (National 863, Oceanic Administration 908, etc.). ) "Digital Ocean" is a complex comprehensive project and science. This study is helpful to integrate the information resources of "digital ocean" to the maximum extent, explore and pave the way for "digital ocean" in technology and method, and thus contribute to the early realization of "digital ocean".
(7) Providing reference for other industries or fields: Although this book mainly studies marine information services, some of its ideas, technologies and methods have strong universality and can provide valuable reference for other industries or fields.
