The trial commercial launch time of WCDMA has been confirmed as May 17, and China Unicom will have a friendly trial commercial experience in the first batch of 55 cities with 3G services. Before the end of the year, China Unicom will launch the official commercialization of 3G. By then, all 284 cities in China that have opened 3G services will enter the formal commercial stage.
