Hongyan Village is a natural village in Lianhua Town, Gongcheng Yao Autonomous County, Guilin. It has the only pollution-free fruit base of 10,000 mu persimmon in China. Nowadays, 10,000 mu of persimmons are boundless, and the thriving persimmons are covered with lanterns, dotted with mountains and plains, like an orange sea.

Persimmons have been planted in Guangxi for more than 400 years, and fruit farmers have rich experience. At the same time, it has the technical support of Guangxi Characteristic Crops Research Institute, Guangxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Guangxi University and other scientific research units. 1996 Gongcheng county was awarded the title of "hometown of persimmon in China" by the organizing Committee of the naming publicity campaign of China specialty hometown of the Ministry of Agriculture; 200 1 12 was listed as "National Experimental Zone for Sustainable Development" by the Ministry of Science and Technology, and it is the only county in Guangxi that won this honor.

Planting method of persimmon

1, planting site selection

Persimmons actually have low requirements for soil. They should be planted in deep pits, and some fertilizers containing calcium phosphate and potassium chloride should be applied in the pits as the most basic fertilizers.

2. Fertilizer and water management

Persimmon seedlings should pay attention to loosening the soil and applying appropriate fertilizer. After the seedlings germinate, we can apply urea and human and animal manure once or twice a month, and then gradually increase it. Just apply fertilizer again in March, May, August and September of the following year. In the third year, when persimmon trees begin to bear fruit, potassium fertilizer and a small amount of boron fertilizer should be added.

When persimmon trees enter the high-yield period, some urea, potassium sulfate, phosphate fertilizer and a small amount of borax can be applied. After chemical fertilizer production, in February of 1 1-65438, organic fertilizer and phosphate fertilizer will be the main fertilizers, which can provide sufficient nutrients for the bumper harvest in the market next year. Persimmon trees are very afraid of water accumulation, so drainage measures should be taken in rainy season to prevent water accumulation, and drought relief work should be done in time from July to September to ensure adequate irrigation of water resources.

3, integer pruning

Persimmon trees have become larger after growth. Therefore, pruning the branches and leaves of plants and diseases, thin and tufted branches and leaves, can not only transmit light, but also make full use of nutrients. In summer, mother branches can also be cultivated by branching and pulling branches.
