According to different equipment models, the corresponding equipment supports different connection methods, such as:

Iface series noodle machine support: network cable connection, serial port connection, U disk upload and download data.

X 10, K28 and other self-service attendance machines support: USB data cable connection, U disk upload and download data.

Second, how to judge whether the machine supports the corresponding connection mode:

1. A method for judging network connection

A. The machine must have a network port that supports network connection (there are cases where the old machine does not support network connection but has a network port. The network port of that machine is used to connect the jumper from the network cable to the serial port, using serial port connection; There is also an all-in-one attendance and access control machine without a network port, but there will be tcp/ip terminals on the back of the machine, and it is necessary to connect the network cable with RJ45 adapter. RJ45 adapter is shown in the following figure:)

B for machines that support network connection, there will be a menu of communication settings in the menu of the machine, and there will be an option of network settings to set the IP address of the machine, as shown in the following figure:

2.2 the judgment method. WiFi connection

A. The appearance of a machine that supports WiFi connection is no different from other machines, and can only be judged by the menu of the machine. In the menu of the machine supporting WiFi connection, there will be a menu of communication settings, in which there will be an option of wireless network /WiFi settings, which is used to search for wireless networks and set the wireless IP address of the machine, as shown in the following figure:

B for special w series machines, the network mode of the machine needs to be set before supporting WiFi connection. The specific steps are as follows:

B 1, main menu → System Settings → Network Settings →? Connection setting: Set the network mode to wireless terminal. Set the port number, communication password and device number;

3. Judgment method of serial connection

A. In terms of hardware, machines that support serial ports will have a network cable interface (cable to serial port patch cord) or a serial port interface. If it is an all-in-one attendance and access control machine, there will be a serial terminal on the back of the machine, as shown in figure:

B in terms of machine menu, for machines that support serial connection, there will be a menu of communication settings in the machine menu, and there will be an option of serial connection to set the parameters of serial connection, as shown in the figure below:

4.4 the judgment method. USB data line connection

For machines that support usb cable connection, there will be a mini usb interface on the machine to connect usb cable, as shown in the figure (most machines with access control function do not support USB cable connection, and the mini USB interface on some machines is used to connect USB patch cords).

5. Judgment method of uploading and downloading data on U disk

A. In terms of hardware, a machine that supports uploading and downloading data from a USB flash drive will have a USB flash drive interface for direct connection, and a single attendance and access control integrated machine will have a mini USB flash drive interface for connection of USB flash drive jumpers, as shown in the figure:
