Tianjin No.8 Middle School was founded in the autumn of 1952, and its predecessor was Wan Middle School. At present, there are more than 600 junior and senior high school students/kloc-0 and more than 50 faculty members/kloc-0. Taking education quality as life is not only the slogan of running a school in No.8 Middle School, but also the practice of running a school in No.8 Middle School. After more than 30 years' efforts, No.8 Middle School has formed a good style of study of "unity, preciseness, truth-seeking, innovation and diligence" and built a campus culture of "strong style of study, civilized and healthy, positive, distinctive and colorful". Tianjin No.8 Middle School is located in the beautiful Liyuan Community of Sun City, Weiguo Road, Hedong District, and is a district-level key middle school. This school, also called Shude Middle School, is divided into junior middle school and senior middle school. But in 2008, Shude Middle School was dissolved and all of them were renamed Tianjin No.8 Middle School.
