Step 1: Enter the IP address in the address bar of the computer browser (prompted on the back of the router) and press Enter.
Step 2: Then, enter the user name and password in the pop-up login box (also prompted on the back of the router) → enter the setting interface.
Step 3: Click Forwarding Rules → Virtual Server → Add New Entry in the left menu.
Step 4: Add a new entry → Public service port number (different functions use different ports).
For example, to build an 80-port website, FTP will add 2 1 port, open the remote desktop connection service port, add 3389 port, and so on?
Step 5: As for how to know the current computer IP address, you can do this: Start → Run → Enter: CMD Click OK (or Enter) to open the command prompt window.
Step 6: When the Internet is available, check the IP address: in the command dialog box, enter: ipconfig /all and press Enter to execute.
Step 7: If you don't quite understand how to choose and set, you can click Help to view the details.
Step 8: If the setting is successful, it must be saved and take effect. You should also test it first, and if there are mistakes, you can edit or delete it. Then click "Add Next New Item" to continue adding.
The router itself integrates the firewall function, so that computers in the WAN cannot be protected by the firewall by default if they want to access some servers in the LAN through the router. In this way, there is a pair of contradictions. Routers should not only protect the network from intrusion, but also facilitate legitimate users to access the WAN. Router provides the function of virtual server, which can solve this contradiction. The virtual server defines a service port, and all service requests for this port will be relocated to the server in the local area network specified by the IP address.
Combo interface, also known as photoelectric multiplexing interface, consists of two Ethernet ports (an optical port and an electrical port) on the equipment panel. Combo port and its corresponding optical port are logically photoelectric multiplexed, and users can choose one to use according to the actual networking situation, but they cannot work at the same time.
