1in July, 926, the National Revolutionary Army swore the Northern Expedition. The direct target of the Northern Expedition was the northern warlords supported by imperialism, mainly Wu, Sun and Zhang. Faced with the disparity between the enemy and ourselves, the National Revolutionary Army, under the guidance of Soviet advisers, formulated a strategic policy of concentrating its forces to destroy the enemy. With the strong support of the people along the way, the Northern Expedition Army was in full swing. While the Northern Expeditionary Army won a great victory, the national army led by Feng Yuxiang, with the help of the Soviet Union and China's * * * production party, was sworn in in Wuyuan, Suiyuan on September 1926 and marched south. The Northern Expedition was carried out under the anti-imperialist and anti-warlord slogan put forward by the * * * production party. During the Northern Expedition, especially the independent regiment led by party member Ye Ting, which was produced by * * * *, took the lead in attacking Wuchang City and successfully won the title of "Iron Army". The Northern Expedition was a great success in a short time, which was the result of cooperation between the two sides.
The climax of the workers and peasants movement in Hunan, Hubei and Jiangxi
With the victory of the Northern Expedition entering the mass movement of workers and peasants, it rose rapidly on an unprecedented scale. It is most obvious in Hunan, Hubei and Jiangxi provinces. In these provinces, the peasant movement first rose. Mao Zedong was appointed secretary of the Central Committee of China Peasant Movement in May 5438+0926165438+10, focusing on the peasant movement in Hunan, Hubei, Jiangxi and Henan. Once farmers were organized, they took action and launched an unprecedented rural revolution. The vigorous development of the peasant movement frightened the landlord Shen Hao and the Kuomintang Rightists, who attacked the peasant movement one after another. Mao Zedong pointedly refuted all kinds of fallacies and heresies accusing the peasant movement inside and outside the Party, discussed the great significance of the rural revolution, and pointed out that all revolutionary comrades should stand in front of the peasants and lead them, instead of standing behind them to criticize them, let alone opposing them. The workers' movement has also sprung up in cities. The Federation of Trade Unions of Hunan and Hubei Provinces was established in September 1926. Driven by the victory of the Northern Expedition and the upsurge of the workers' and peasants' movement, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Shanghai District Committee began to organize Shanghai workers to carry out armed uprisings from 65438 10 to 0926 10. The third armed uprising of Shanghai workers was a feat of China workers' movement during the Great Revolution and the peak of its development during the Northern Expedition.
