Reading notes in the bullpen
After reading a famous book, I believe everyone has a lot to share, so you need to write reading notes and make records. Don't think that reading notes can be handled casually. The following are my reading notes in the bullpen for everyone. You are welcome to study for reference. I hope it helps you.

Who has more power, the author or the translator? You can answer without thinking, of course, the author. Therefore, there are many translations in Europe only with the writer's name on the cover, and the translator's name is printed on the back in very small words, which takes a lot of effort to find. In magazines, only the author's name is often seen under the title, and the translator's name is written behind the article, which can only be seen by readers after reading the article. What they mean is that translators and authors dare not compete.

Not in China. I have seen many books, with only the translator's name printed on the cover, and two or three big gold letters standing proudly there. These words may be too bright, so the author's name has to escape to a corner of the book. Sometimes we can only find the translator's name on the cover of the magazine or in the catalogue, or even the translator's name is printed at the top of this article, so the author can only find a place to stay in a bracket at the back of this article. Psychologically, this is a very interesting phenomenon. Translators are afraid that readers only pay attention to the author's name, but they don't have the courage to kill the author. Fortunately, since the article is in his hand, the author has no right to speak, so he has to let him dispose of it and unceremoniously squeeze the author into the shadow. I'm not a psychologist, but I can guess that abnormal psychologists must have reserved a big place for these people in their books.

As I said before, some translators don't have the courage to erase the author. But here, as elsewhere, there is no shortage of brave people. Fu Bao, a great scholar named Ding Shuangming, wrote a Buddhist dictionary with dozens of volumes. We knew there was a problem at first sight, because this kind of work required years of collection and research. We have never heard of such an expert in China, but there is no doubt that such a masterpiece has appeared out of thin air. In the preface of the book, a great Buddhist dictionary written by TEDA Deneng in Japan is mentioned. We didn't know it was the translation of this book until we brought a pair. Mr. Dante absolutely denied that it was a translation, only admitted that it was a work, because he added something new. I'm a little confused again. Translate a million-word masterpiece, add ten words and eight words of new materials, and you can keep the book for yourself. I'm afraid people all over the world will come to translate this book. Mr. Dante's masterpiece is not without its merits. There are many pictures of Mr. Ding in it. For example, Ding in the physiological era and Ding in the medical era are also quite dazzling. Mr. Ding's appearance is passable, though worse than that of Dr. Hua. But I finally understand. In the past, some people wanted to put their photos in the newspaper, but because they didn't have the opportunity, they had to write to Dou 'an's pharmacy, with their photos attached, of course. The letter said that they had recovered after taking some medicine. Thank you. So after a while, my mug can appear in the newspaper like someone with the same name, although the place is wrong, I can't care so much. Now Mr. Ding has invented another one. People who want to be famous in the future no longer need to pretend to be syphilis or drug addicts to write letters to big pharmacies. It is really a great merit. Can we not admire Mr. Ding's inventive ability?

There is also a courageous person, of course, a scholar. He translated several Japanese papers about Xianbei and Xiongnu, wrote his own name and published it. Later, someone found out the original text and sent a letter asking. Only then did he announce that he had forgotten the author's name in a hurry. This is of course a good reason, because if you have to forget one of others and your own name, of course you will forget others. Who doesn't love his name?

I just gave two examples at random. Such brave people really abound among us, like mushrooms after rain. It doesn't matter much just to play this game in our country, because many people are tacit to each other, but it is too shameful for us to let foreign scholars know it occasionally. Ding's dictionary mentioned above was compared with the original Japanese by a German sinologist who is now a professor at Cambridge University. He told me the result and made me blush for a long time. This is a legal issue abroad. If a person steals something from others in his doctoral thesis without declaring it, and later discovers it, he will immediately cancel his doctoral degree. I hope China's laws will punish these heroes!

Reading this book, the most important thing is to learn the wisdom of Ji Xianlin's old people to survive in such a bad situation, how to encourage themselves and how to look down on the ups and downs of the outside world ... Now it seems easy for outsiders to understand the plain and affectionate reality described in words. After joining the bureau, those of us who shout for fairness and justice every day can't stand it for a week.

Influenced by film and television works, I always thought that people who can survive such years must support themselves with tenacious will, encourage themselves, be brave and not afraid of any difficulties. I will take it for granted that people who have done so much will have great ambitions …

Ji is very honest, and every paragraph admits his weakness and vacillation in the face of beatings and torture. In the end, he became the strongest because of numbness, which can be used as an example for ordinary people like me to learn. Like countless people who proved their innocence with their lives in those years, he also had the idea of self-determination and even made a rigorous academic comparison of suicide. This is the idea of being born after death. Reading through the book, I think it is the beginning of Ji Lao's psychological change to stick to it.

As the saying goes, good and evil are rewarded, but under the unrestrained good and evil of human nature, can it really be rewarded as the sages said? There should be ~

Since the theory of "Yu Li Hell" is a concentrated expression of human imagination and universal to human nature, it shows that these energetic revolutionary teenagers can naturally build a bullpen comparable to hell even if they don't study Sanskrit or do research and release the evil of human nature.

Today teachers and students used to be enemies. Curled up in the kitchen, Ji Lao's brain must be rolling, just like the waves of the sea. I tried to close my eyes and imagine myself in such a situation, full of despair and hatred … When I opened my eyes, my face was full of inward flow. At this time, halfway through the book, I still don't feel like Mr. Ji. If I really go to prison, I can't imagine what choice I will make …

How did Mr. Ji deal with those former disciples and Wang, as well as those who were full of sticks and foul language after the turmoil, when he resumed his position and reputation? In other words, how does Ji Lao feel when he begins to recall the past today? Is it forgiveness or indifference? In the past, the grace of preaching, teaching and solving doubts was forgotten, and he just became a class enemy and gladly guarded a kind old man with a stick.

I have too many questions and brought myself into such an era of right and wrong countless times. Suppose I follow my heart, what kind of choice would I make?

The era of disorder has gone away in the long river of history. In the face of despair, it is Mr. Ji's choice to stick to his moral standards and values without being eroded by the outside world, and it should also be the choice of my generation. This choice is not just a slogan, otherwise what's the use of reading? Although I may not be able to do it, at least I know someone who has done it, such as a lighthouse that guides the course, such as the stars in the dark night, and I am more persistent when I choose to exile myself. This should be the meaning of reading this book.
