I like imagination, but I want these "imaginations" to have historical reasons. Therefore, by consulting all kinds of words, I have made an understanding of the meetings of monarch and minister in past dynasties, especially the meetings of Cao Wei in the Three Kingdoms. This understanding is still very superficial at present. Can only be considered as a general and general understanding.
There were two dynasties in ancient times: the big dynasty and the regular dynasty. The Great Dynasty is a meeting held on major festivals and events, such as the accession of the new emperor to the throne and national celebrations.
Regular court meetings are routine meetings. Take Cao Wei as an example. In the early period of Cao Cao and Cao Pi's era, Chang Chao built the front hall of Shidian in Luoyang Palace (Chengguang Hall? The great dynasty is in the main hall of Jianshi Hall; In the Cao Pi era and the late Cao Cao era, after the completion of the Taiji Hall of Chonghua Hall (later renamed Jiulong Hall) and Jiafu Hall (Chonghua Hall Front Hall), the meeting place was changed to Taiji Hall. The changes in the office locations of the Great Dynasty and the Long Dynasty reflect the course of the construction of Luoyang by three generations of Cao Wei. When Cao Cao and Cao Pi entered Luoyang, Luoyang was still in ruins. They rebuilt a series of palace buildings on the basis of broken walls in the old palace of the Eastern Han Dynasty.
When it comes to meeting time, there are three kinds: night meeting, morning meeting and afternoon meeting. Before Shang dynasty, it was mostly night dynasty; The Ming dynasty was mostly in the afternoon. The rest of the time is mostly in the early generation (Shang Dynasty until later generations).
So, is the meeting held every day? There used to be an opera that sang "Wang Deng Dian in 369", meaning every month, every Wednesday, 13th, 23rd, 30th ... and on other days with three belts, six belts and nine belts, he would only visit the DPRK. In fact, the situation of each dynasty is different.
Emperors of the Han Dynasty generally insisted on going to the early dynasty every day. Whether the emperor can do it himself is a personal matter. The emperor of the Tang Dynasty was a bit lazy. Some lazy emperors wrote the court meeting once every three days, except once on the 15th and 15th day of the first month (Emperor Gaozong) and once every ten days (Wu Zetian). Of course, Xuanzong was abandoned in political affairs. From Yang Guifei's favor to Xuanzong's return to the horse and his death, he didn't go to court early.
In the early dynasty, it was generally believed that it was in the fifth watch. Specifically, there should be two periods. In the previous period, when the rooster crowed for the first time, ministers whose homes were far from the palace would get up; When the cock crows twice, the minister goes out and the official wakes up the emperor. When the cock crows three times, the meeting begins. The time of crowing is different all the year round, and even influenced by the weather, every day is different, so the early morning time in China is not fixed at this time. Usually, most ministers get up at two in the morning to get ready and go out at three. Although the ancients went to bed early, they were still very hard.
In the future, with the development of technical means, chickens can no longer be heard. The meeting time of the Tang Dynasty is set at two o'clock. A quarter past four (4: 48) is the fifth watch, plus two points-each watch is divided into five minutes and ten minutes, and each point accounts for two quarters, which is 0.24 hours, which is about half an hour (28.8 minutes) now. It can be seen that the time in the early Tang Dynasty was about 5: 45.
In the Three Kingdoms, Cao Wei used ancient methods, depending on the crow. One reason is that there are a lot of chickens in Jiafu Hall, which is obviously used to announce the dawn-in the palace of the Grand Palace, where the monarch and ministers will attend the meeting, it is impossible to keep many laying hens or broilers. Although many people think that the "rooster tree" mentioned in Historical Records does not mean that the rooster crows in the tree, but that Gleditsia sinensis (alias "rooster" for Gleditsia sinensis) is planted in the hall of Jiafu, I personally think this statement is wrong. Combined with context analysis, it must be related to time. Therefore, the book says that the rooster crows is correct.
As you can imagine, Luoyang and Miyagi were busy when the rooster crowed for the second time in Jiafu Hall. The rooster crows, the bell resounds through the sky, and the drums shake the earth. Then, the palace door opened and Wu Jin patrolled the city, shouting some slogans.
Ministers have been waiting in the Imperial Street outside the palace gate according to the shift-Cao Wei is the Bronze Camel Street. They will enter Chengmingmen, take off their shoes and swords in the Pian Temple, and then step on the temple, waiting for the emperor to come to the DPRK.
When the minister walked toward the DPRK, someone attended the emperor's daily life. Urge him to put on his yellow robe and hurry to court. This job is probably done by Huang Menlang, Xiao Huangmen and Zhong Changshi, because they have to go in and out of the harem.
