How did Hong Xiuquan die? Who is Hong Xiuquan's wife? Does he have any descendants?
The Taiping Heavenly Kingdom Uprising led by Hong Xiuquan was the biggest movement against the Tongzhi Emperor of the Qing Dynasty in the19th century. At the same time, it was also the longest and largest peasant uprising in the history of China. Fourteen years of history, involving seventeen cities, had a great influence on the rule of the Qing Dynasty. Moreover, this movement not only accelerated the disintegration of feudal rule, but also stopped the semi-colonial and semi-feudal process in China to some extent. In this movement, some ideas of equality for all were put forward, which was also very progressive and played a certain role in promoting the revolution in later generations. As the leader of this uprising, Hong Xiuquan founded the worship of gods at the beginning, and then launched an uprising in Jintian with others. Because its slogan is related to the fundamental interests of the people, and the prospect it depicts makes the people see hope, it has many supporters. Along the way, even the number of provinces, finally broke through Nanjing and built the capital.

Such a massive and magnificent uprising ended in 1864, and its leader Hong Xiuquan died in the same year. There are many theories about the death of Hong Xiuquan.

The first theory is that Hong Xiuquan died of poisoning. When the officers and men of the Qing army besieged Tianjing, the situation was extremely grim, food and grass were in short supply, and people were in turmoil. One thing after another makes Hong Xiuquan extremely anxious. He was under great pressure, probably knowing that he was unable to recover the defeat and finally chose to commit suicide. As a general in the late kingdom of heaven, Li Xiucheng was naturally interrogated after being captured. In his self-report, he once said: "Tianwang (Hong Xiuquan) is anxious every day, that is, he died of poison on April 27." This was published by Zeng Guopan in Li Xiucheng's readme. In the second half, he said: "The suicide of Tianwang made the whole situation more chaotic." Zeng Guopan talked about Hong Xiuquan in "The Memorial of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom Movement" and also said: "The first rebellion against Hong Xiuquan was in May this year, and the government troops stormed and died of taking poison."

The second theory is that he died of a serious illness. 1March 864, after Tianjing was besieged, the city was short of food. Under such circumstances, the officers and men just ate grass balls to satisfy their hunger, while Hong Xiuquan took the lead in eating "manna" (grass balls), so it is very likely that they got seriously ill and eventually died because of eating this thing.

Hong Xiuquan's original match was Lai, also known as Lai Shimei, the granddaughter of Xuanyuan Huangdi 168, and the granddaughter of Lai Shuguojun 1 12. Follow Hong Xiuquan into Guiping Uprising in Guangxi, assist Tianwang to train female soldiers, and become Hong Xiuquan's right-hand man and general. Besides Lai, Hong Xiuquan also has a God-given wife. Of course, this fairy wife is a fictional character invented by Hong Xiuquan to publicize his holiness, and does not exist. After People's Republic of China (PRC), with its capital, was founded, Hong Xiuquan was content with pleasure and debauchery, and the harem married many women. There are about a thousand women in Hong Xiuquan Palace, mostly beautiful women in Jiangsu and Zhejiang. Hong Xiuquan's harem system consists of a queen, a queen in charge of the queen, two loving mothers, two actress mothers and two female mothers, all of which rank first. There are four good women, eight wonderful women, 16 beautiful women, 20 beautiful women, 20 beautiful women, 28 women, 32 women, 36 Juan women and 40 charming women in each palace, which are also graded according to grades one to nine. Tianwang has 24 concubines, each under the jurisdiction of Yan Page (I don't know what to read, but type it out). There are four women, four women in the room, four women in the room and four women in the room, which are graded according to one to five levels. In addition, there are Yuan poetesss and enchanting poetesss, which are classified into six or seven categories respectively.

Hong Xiuquan has five sons: the eldest son Tianguifu Hong, the second son Hong Tianzeng, the third son Hong Tianguang, the fourth son Hong Tianming and the fifth son Hong Tianyou.

Tianguifu Hong, the eldest son, is the young master. Tianjing fled after the break, was captured with Li Xiucheng, and was later killed.

The second son, Hong Tianzeng, is young.

The third son Hong Tianguang and the fourth son Hong Tianming are illegitimate children. Hong Tianguang's mother is his twelfth wife Chen, and his mother is his nineteenth wife Wu. After the city was breached, Ben fled with his brother Tianguifu Hong. But Li Xiucheng said that he could only take care of the owner of the baby, and the two were left in the same place, and their whereabouts were unknown. Some people say that they probably fled to Nanyang with their mother.

Hong Tianyou, the youngest son, was adopted by Yang after the Tianjing Incident. He was called a "son and nephew" and was named King Youdong, becoming the first official of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom. After the fall of Tianjing, his whereabouts were unknown.
