The most conservative plan is that Yun -20 will keep half of the fuel for its own use, and Yun -20 can still provide 65 tons of fuel for other aircraft.

Second, refuel multiple fighters. If you transport 20 tons of oil within 3000 kilometers, you can still maintain about 50 tons of fuel supply, five times more than H -6. Combined with Su -30, J- 1 1 and J- 16 heavy fighter, the maximum oil load exceeds 10 ton, and a tanker carrying 20 oils can be 8 J-/Kloc-within the operational range of heavy fighter 1500 km.

Third, expand the operational radius At present, there are still a large number of long-range bombers such as H -6 K and H -6 N in service in China. The latest H -6 N has a maximum oil carrying capacity of 40 tons and a maximum operational radius of 3,500 kilometers. With the air support of Yun -20 tanker, its effective combat radius will exceed 5,000 kilometers.

Similarly, with the help of Yun -20, the effective attack range of domestic Yun -8, Yun -9 series transport aircraft, anti-submarine aircraft, electronic jammer and air police series early warning aircraft will continue to expand.
