Every time a new product of Xiaomi is released, there will always be different voices, and so will Xiaomi TV 2. Consumers are less and less in the mood to wait for Xiaomi's housekeeping skill "Hunger Marketing Method". Of course, today we won't talk about Xiaomi's marketing methods, but we will bring you real product disassembly. For Xiaomi TV 2, there are many online slobbers, mostly focusing on workmanship, quality and panel. The basic arguments are basically guesswork. The most fundamental way to crack these rumors is to take the TV apart and see what's in it, how it works and whether it's worth the money.
First, let's take a look at its appearance. The most obvious difference from Xiaomi TV 1 is that the screen size is increased to 49 inches, the resolution is upgraded to 4K, and the wireless subwoofer and Soundbar are added. The packaging price of 3999 is reasonable (provided that you can buy it). Compared with 1 generation, the base is replaced by feet, and the bottom border is much narrower than 1 generation. The aesthetic level has been greatly improved.
(data picture)
In the last corpse picture, we can see that the main interface of Xiaomi TV 2 is concentrated on the right side of the TV (subject to the direction facing the screen), and the black bar at the bottom middle is the touchpad, which is as radical as Xiaomi TV 1 and has no physical buttons at all. The remote control is broken or dead, so I have to go to the TV base and keep waving it!
Let's begin the formal disassembly steps. The first thing we need to disassemble is the TV leg and two screws, which are very simple.
After removing the leg, you can see that there are four holes. You can adjust the height of the leg by changing the position of the screw, which is a good design.
Different from most TVs, the power cord of Xiaomi TV 2 is connected with the TV, so we have to open it first to see the internal structure.
You can see the structure inside when you open it, but you can't pull it out directly. A buckle is used to fix the power cord and prevent it from being excessively pulled.
There is still a screw under the torn invalid label. Only by unscrewing this screw can the backboard be opened. Of course, this will lose the warranty.
At an exciting moment, the backplane has been opened and we can see the circuit board hidden inside. At first glance, it looks good.
At the interface between the power cord and the power board, the snap plug design is adopted here, so that the power cord can not be plugged and unplugged by itself, and the flexibility is limited. Moreover, once the wire fails, it needs to be disassembled and replaced, and the cost is high.
After the backboard is completely opened, is there any local gold as good as the outside? The black part on the left is the TV motherboard, the cross-shaped hole in the middle is the LCD driver board, and the largest part on the right is the power board. The black bar at the bottom of the TV is two speakers (who said Xiaomi TV 2 has no speakers? ), in the middle of the speaker is a new touch module. The circuit boards are all connected by flat cables, with neat wiring and reasonable circuit board layout, which is a qualitative leap compared with the wild internal wiring of Xiaomi TV.
As long as you see the label on the LCD screen, you can be sure that this is another LCD screen specially customized by LG Display for Xiaomi. I can't find any information about this LCD screen on the Internet, including LG official website. Fortunately, some performance parameters of Xiaomi were found in an official document. At present, it can be determined that the screen number is LC490EQJ-SGK 1 and the physical resolution is 3840*2 160. It is a real 4K screen with RGB pixel arrangement (not RGBW rumored on the Internet), and the display color is 10bit. Without backlight, the whole backlight module is made by Wistron, which reduces the cost. At present, the screen refresh rate and response time are not known, and the possibility of 60HZ is very high. Here we also hope that Xiaomi can announce the complete information of this LCD screen as soon as possible, especially the key parameters such as screen refresh rate and response time! It is very important for consumers to choose and buy. In addition, Skyworth currently has a 49U2 low-cost 4K TV with the same LCD screen as Xiaomi TV 2. Unfortunately, Skyworth did not disclose the specific parameters. It's really a mysterious LCD screen!
After reading the screen that everyone is most concerned about, let's start with the power part on the right. This is the power circuit board of Xiaomi 2. The power input is in the lower right corner, and the power output is in the upper left corner. It is connected to the motherboard with a flat cable. The components on the power board are dense and neatly arranged, and the overall workmanship is good.
Material details, 105K 450V blue square capacitor.
Material details, a 223J 1000V blue square capacitor.
There are three transformers on the power board, and the overall workmanship is very regular. There is no phenomenon of cutting corners, and it is not worse than domestic traditional TV manufacturers or even international brands.
Material details, two sets of ring inductors on the power board.
Material details, PFC circuit of NXP BYV29X-600 diode, applied to discontinuous current mode power factor correction (PFC).
Material details, 10A 600v MOS tube produced by ST (stmicroelectronics) company.
Material details, Japanese ruby capacitor, 450V, 68uF.
Material details, a green 14D62 1 rheostat.
The disassembled diagram of the circuit board is here. Next, let's take a look at the LCD driver board, WIFI module and speakers in the middle. The green circuit board between the two speakers is a liquid crystal drive board, and the whole circuit board is covered by a metal heat dissipation cover. The flat cable on the drive board is connected to the motherboard, and two sets of flat cables are connected to the touch panel below.
After removing the heat dissipation cover, we can see the true face of the LCD driver board. We use the original LG driver board that matches the LCD screen, and you can see "LGDisplay" on the main driver IC in the middle.
The main control IC driven by liquid crystal is produced by LG Display, and the specific model is TLi2450MC.
There is a Tps65 196 level converter chip produced by TI on the driver board.
It is also a special bias IC for programmable LCD panel, which is produced by TI company and is specially used for household TV sets. It integrates 6-channel gamma buffer, Vcom reference and dynamic gain functions.
The model of the LCD driver board is V 14 TM 120 UHD, which was designed on February 6, 20 13. At present, it can be found on Taobao, and the bulk price is around 280 yuan.
The cable connected between the driver board and the TV motherboard is covered with a metal shielding layer, and the production date is1May 28th, 4.
WI-FI and Bluetooth 4.0 modules, with the word MI, should also be customized boards, and the shielding cover on them is welded on the circuit board. We don't know exactly what kind of chip to use.
The built-in speaker of Xiaomi TV 2 can be seen on the back after it is removed. It has no brand and motivation information. Judging from the initial "DY", if you are not mistaken, it should be from Lehua (a domestic TV brand).
Finally, let's look at the motherboard of the LCD TV on the left, which is the intelligent core of the TV. The CPU in the middle is covered by a heat sink, and under the heat sink is Xiaomi's logo and slogan. On the left is the USB interface, below is the video input interface and antenna interface, and on the right is the interface of various cables. The original motherboard is arranged neatly, looks clean and tidy, and works quite like a big factory.
Material details, ALVC245 logic chip is produced by NXP.
Material details: Xiaomi TV 2 has a memory capacity of 2G, adopts modern H5TQ4G63AFR DDR3 cache chip, with speed 1866MHz and timing 13- 13.
Material details, ROM capacity 8G, produced by Toshiba. The model is "THGBMAG6A2JBACR".
For details of materials, TAS57 17 chip produced by TI Company is an ordinary digital power amplifier IC with DSP, with built-in operational amplifier and rated output power of 2X 10W, so it is judged that the built-in speaker power of Xiaomi TV 2 should be 10W..
Finally, let's take a look-CPU, the heart of the whole intelligent part of TV. Xiaomi TV 2 adopts Mstar (Morningstar) 6A9 18, which is the same as LeTV X50 Air, 4-core1.45Hz, integrates Mali-450 quad-core graphics processor, supports H.265 hardware decoding (@24/30P), and is also the mainstream use of high-end 4K TV at present.
Well, our disassembly has come to an end here, and the internal structure, materials and workmanship of Xiaomi TV 2 have also been presented to you. I believe everyone has a judgment on its quality. From a personal point of view, the workmanship of Xiaomi TV 2 is remarkable. Except for local gold, the overall layout of the circuit board is very standardized and the workmanship is very good. Compared with the green water testing work of Xiaomi TV 1 generation, Xiaomi TV 2 is a qualitative leap, and its workmanship is not inferior to that of traditional TV manufacturers. But in the end, I still have to talk about Xiaomi's marketing strategy. People who buy TV usually just need it. I believe that most people who can keep calm will not spend months rushing to buy a TV. Sometimes even if you spend time, there is no result. The enthusiasm of users will disappear with the failure of repeated purchases, and the speed of launching new TV products will be faster and faster. If consumers really spend a long time snapping up, who will give up new products with stronger functions and performance to choose Xiaomi?
