Seibel is a man who doesn't recognize two masters. Unlike his loyal general Lu Bu, he surrendered to others everywhere. Gao Zun followed his master Lu Bu when he was still in Bing and when Lu Bu was defeated. Seibel has been silently supporting Lu Bu behind his back. It's a pity that General Lu Bu, who he followed, was a conceited man, and Lu Bu never paid attention to Gao Shun from beginning to end. It was only when Lu Bu was in a crisis that he thought of this trap camp under Seibel, not Seibel.
But Seibel never wanted to betray Lu Bu. Seibel can be said to have brought Confucianism's benevolence, righteousness, propriety and wisdom to the extreme. Cao Cao knows Seibel, and he admires Seibel's noble character. Therefore, after Cao Cao captured Seibel alive, he also knew that Seibel could not be surrendered to him, so Cao Cao simply fulfilled Seibel and made him die heroically.
This is the loyalty of the ancients, and I think Gao Shun's character is worth learning from our contemporary people. Now I am bent on going forward without looking back and paying attention to history, thinking that history is useless and decadent. However, many people and things in history are worth learning. We can't just look to the future and forget history. This is not right.
