Evidence-based nursing is a process in which nurses carefully, clearly and wisely apply the best scientific evidence, combine with skilled clinical knowledge and experience, refer to patients' wishes, and make nursing decisions that meet patients' needs in specific fields. This definition describes a decision-making process and working method, so evidence-based nursing belongs to a decision-making process and working method conceptually.

Third, the specific steps of evidence-based nursing:

1. Find problems in clinical practice and make them concrete and structured.

2. According to the questions raised, systematically review the relevant literature in order to find external evidence from the research.

3. Carefully review the validity and popularity of scientific research evidence.
