From the arch to the altar, there are 392 stone steps and 8 platforms. The steps are made of Suzhou granite. The highest platform has two Chinese watches, followed by the memorial hall. The memorial hall is a palace-like building. It is 30 meters long, 25 meters wide and 29 meters high. The exterior wall is Hong Kong granite. The top of the main hall is the traditional double-eaved mountain-resting style in China, covered with blue glazed tiles. There are three archways in the memorial hall, and the banner of "nationality, civil rights and people's livelihood" is engraved on the forehead (representing the Three People's Principles put forward by Dr. Sun Yat-sen). The lintel of the memorial hall is engraved with the words "the righteousness of heaven and earth" written by Sun Yat-sen. There is a marble statue of Dr. Sun Yat-sen in the hall, which is 4.6 meters high and lifelike. It was carved with Italian white marble by the world famous sculptor paul long Tesky in Paris. There are reliefs around the statue reflecting Mr. Zhongshan's revolutionary deeds. The marble on the east and west walls of the memorial hall is engraved with the full text of Dr. Sun Yat-sen's handwritten work "Outline of the Establishment of People's Republic of China (PRC)", and the dome is painted with a huge Kuomintang party emblem. There is a double tomb door behind the hall. The two front doors are made of copper and the door frames are made of black marble. There is a banner in Dr. Sun Yat-sen's calligraphy "The Great Spiritual End". The double fan is a single copper fan, and the door is engraved with the stone carving of "Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Tomb". The entrance is a circular tomb with a diameter of 18m and a height of11m. The elevation of the tomb is 165 meters, 700 meters away from the departure plane, with a drop of 73 meters. The top is inlaid with colorful mosaics into the Kuomintang party emblem, and the ground is covered with white marble. In the center is a long grave, on which lies a white marble statue of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, which was carved by Czechoslovakian sculptor Takasaki according to the portrait. The body of Dr. Sun Yat-sen is buried below. Use American-made copper coffins to hold coffins. The tomb is 4 meters in diameter and 5 meters in depth, and is sealed with reinforced concrete. Visitors can overlook the lying posture on the coffin around the white marble railing in the circular tomb.
