DRC is the Democratic Republic of Congo and the Democratic Republic of Congo, also known as Zaire. Congo (Brazzaville) is the Republic of Congo.

The French names of these two countries are "Congo"

So the abbreviations of their respective capitals are added to distinguish the names of the two countries-"Jin" means "Kinshasa" and "Bu" means "Brazzaville".
