Nanguo Temple is located in Qinzhou District, Tianshui City, Gansu Province. It is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction, a provincial-level cultural relics protection unit and a patriotic education base in Gansu Province. ?

Nanguo Temple is the first famous temple in Longyou. Nanguo Temple has a considerable scale in the Tang Dynasty. There are architectural attractions such as King Temple, Bell and Drum Tower, zenrinji, Guandi Temple, Temple and Beiliu Spring, as well as the colorful and majestic "Bai Han".

In February 2020, in order to pay tribute to the medical workers who fought against the epidemic, Nanguo Temple Scenic Area was free of tickets for medical workers nationwide within one year after it resumed business.

Du Fu, a great poet of the Tang Dynasty in China, wrote more than 100 hymns when he lived in Qin Zhou (today's water) in 759 AD, including Nanguo Temple, The Peak and Shuihao Beiliu Spring. Old trees are empty, and clear canals lead to the city. Autumn flowers are at the bottom of the dangerous rock, and the evening scenery is by the clock. The poem "Sad life, gurgling wind" is vivid, which has aroused people's interest and yearning for it throughout the ages.

On the east side of the mountain, there is a viewing pavilion, where visitors can climb high and have a panoramic view of Tianshui City. In addition, on the hillside of Nanguo Temple, there is a natural Yang Shulin unique to the ancient city of Tianshui, which is lush and green, adding green and vitality to the temple.

Architectural mode:

Nanguo Temple, facing south, consists of three gates from west to east, namely West Courtyard, Intermediate Courtyard and East Courtyard. The West Courtyard is the main courtyard of Nanguo Temple, including the Mountain Gate, Bell and Drum Tower, Heavenly King Hall, Ursa Major Hall, East and West Ancestral Hall, East and West Zen Forest Hall and Sleeping Buddha Hall. Among them, Tang Huai in front of the mountain gate and Cooper in the courtyard of Daxiong Hall are rare treasures.

Dongchanlin Academy is a mausoleum with statues of poet Du Fu and his two sons Wen Zong and Zong Wu. Xichanlin Park is now the reception and office of Nanguo Temple Park; There is a reclining Buddha hall next to the West Temple of Zen Forest, in which there is a reclining Buddha with a Burmese jade body. The original seven-level relic brick tower in the hospital has collapsed.
