Turn on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for two Mac computers. To use Airdrop, you must enable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on both Macs at the same time, and make sure that your Macs are turned on and 30 feet (9 meters) away from each other.

Open the finder. In the Mac's Dock, click the Finder icon that looks like a blue face.

Open the air drop to send.
