"The Middle School Attached to Zhongke" was originally named Shenzhen No.22 Senior High School.
It is a middle school jointly built by Guangming District Government and Shenzhen University of Technology of China Academy of Sciences. It is also the first high school in Shenzhen named after China.
"The High School Attached to Science and Technology" takes it as its mission to build a characteristic school-running mode integrating science and basic education innovation and cultivate innovative scientific and technological reserve talents, aiming at building a basic education experimental high school with China style, international vision, academic atmosphere, everybody's temperament and innovative soul.
The project is located at the intersection of Guanghui Avenue and Louhuan Road in the south of Guangming Central Science Park, covering an area of 34,270 square meters and a total construction area of 82,000 square meters. It will become a public high school with 42 classes and 2 100 degrees.
Famous schools have outstanding genetic advantages. In campus design, Guangming District Construction Department takes school orientation and curriculum design as the origin, innovatively utilizes existing resources and improves the comprehensive utilization rate of space. There are 400-meter standard runway, heated swimming pool, modern basketball hall, badminton hall, black box theater, maker space, VR classroom and other functional spaces for cultural and sports innovation.
It will provide students with diversified growth space. In school design, we should give full play to the advantages of composite resources, integrate the functions of science and technology museum, museum, art gallery and student creative museum, and strive to build a new experimental school with advanced, exemplary and innovative features.
During the project construction, the construction department of Guangming District took precautions, actively communicated with relevant departments, formulated a scientific construction plan, strengthened the guarantee of operation time, increased the input of manpower, material resources and machinery, scientifically implemented the interleaving process, effectively saved the project construction period, and made every effort to push the project construction out of the "acceleration" to ensure that the project was completed and put into use as scheduled.
