Buckingham Palace is the main residence and office of the British monarch in London. Located in Westminster, the Palace is one of the venues where national celebrations and royal welcoming ceremonies are held, and it is also an important tourist attraction.
Buckingham Palace is also an important gathering place for celebrating or crisis in British history. 1703- 1705, Buckingham Palace and John Sheffield, Duke of Normanby, built a large town hall building here, which constitutes the main building today.
The whole Buckingham Palace is surrounded by iron railings. Outside the iron railing of the main building, there is a square with a Victoria gilded statue monument in the center and four groups of stone carvings around it. On the west side of the palace is the main palace, the largest of which is the Royal Ballroom, which was built at 1850 and was specially built for Queen Victoria. There is a huge crystal chandelier hanging in the hall.
The white living room is decorated with white and gold, with exquisite furniture and luxurious carpets, mostly works of art by British and French craftsmen. Crystal chandeliers are hung in the throne room, and the top of the surrounding walls are painted with scenes of15th century wars of the roses. The middle throne was used by the Queen and her husband, the Duke of Edinburgh, when they were crowned in 1953. The four seats used by Queen Victoria and George IV when they were crowned were also kept indoors.
The roof of the palace music room is round and decorated with ivory and gold. Queen Victoria and Prince Albert often hold music parties here.
