Guangshan county is located in the southeast of Henan province, in the middle of Xinyang city, at the junction of Hubei, Henan and Anhui provinces. It is bordered by Huaihe River in the north and Dabie Mountain in the south, with a total area of 1.835 square kilometers and a population of 930,000.
