Since 2004, our college has enrolled science high school graduates who have participated in the unified entrance examination for ordinary colleges and universities nationwide, majoring in armed police command, with a bachelor's degree for four years. Graduates who meet the requirements of the Regulations on Academic Degrees in People's Republic of China (PRC) are awarded a bachelor's degree in military science by our college. Candidates who pass the re-examination after admission will be granted student status and military status and enjoy the treatment of military students. At the same time, our hospital will send a letter to the People's Armed Forces Department where the students' families are located, and issue a certificate of enlistment. Family members will enjoy the treatment of military families. During the study in school, all study expenses and living expenses are borne by the army, and student allowances are paid every month. After graduation, the trainees were appointed as deputy officers of the Armed Police Force and awarded the rank of lieutenant. In principle, assigned to the Hunan Armed Police Corps, the first post is the grass-roots commander of the Armed Police Force.
Since its establishment 20 years ago, the College has delivered more than 5,000 officers and men to the Armed Police Hunan Corps, the Armed Police Hunan Fire Corps, the Armed Police Hubei Corps, the Armed Police Hainan Corps, the Armed Police Shanghai Corps and the Armed Police 126 Division. More than 400 graduates were rated as "excellent grassroots cadres" by the Armed Police Headquarters, the Armed Police Hunan Provincial Corps and the local detachment, and more than 800 people made meritorious deeds. Only the Hunan Armed Police Corps won the first-class merit twice and the second-class merit 25 times, and such heroic model figures as Wu Hongquan and Dai Li emerged. A large number of graduates have taken up the posts of leading cadres at the regimental level in the Armed Police Force.
In recent years, according to the spirit of the working conference of the Central Military Commission and the Armed Police Headquarters, the college has established a new idea of "establishing schools with characteristics, running schools jointly and educating people by teams", requisitioned hundreds of acres, and built comprehensive training ground, library, reading room, language lab, professional room for defense operations, armed police service, political work and logistics, and other supporting living facilities such as auditorium, comprehensive canteen, boiler room and bathhouse.
