On the way to the Long March, the officers and men of the Red Army showed great loyalty and firm belief in the revolutionary ideal and cause, the proletarian optimism spirit of not being afraid of sacrifice and daring to win, and the noble character of taking the overall situation into account, strictly observing discipline and closely uniting. These constitute the great Long March spirit: not afraid of sacrifice, going forward bravely, perseverance, unity and mutual assistance, perseverance and overcoming difficulties.
