School 1958 was founded in Maanshan Iron and Steel Industry School, and 1978 was upgraded to Maanshan Iron and Steel Institute. It is the only undergraduate college in East China's iron and steel industry. 1985 was renamed East China Metallurgical Institute, which is under the Ministry of Metallurgical Industry. From 65438 to 0998, it was assigned to Anhui Province, and implemented the "central and local * * * management system, with Anhui Province as the main management"; In 2000, it merged with Anhui Business School to form Anhui University of Technology.
