The discovery of Gudao Oilfield has broken the forbidden zone of "bulge without oil" and created a precedent of "bulge seeking oil" in the history of oil exploration in China.

At the beginning of the battle, more than 5,000 combat troops from the front line of the oil field and the production logistics front came to the swamp full of weeds and mosquitoes to camp, live in shacks, eat coarse grains and drink salt water.
The broad masses of workers shouted the battle slogan of "stepping on Daqing Road, shouldering a heavy burden of 10,000 Jin, kicking through 10,000 difficulties and winning Gudao Oilfield", climbing on the ice and lying in the snow, swallowing wind and drinking sand, building a well station against the wind and raining, and forgetting to eat and sleep to ensure production.
In the six years after 197 1, Gudao and Kenli oilfields were fully developed and put into production. Gudao Oil Production Brigade, Underground Operation Team, the first joint station of Gudao Oilfield, metering station and the first women oil production team of Gudao Command Department were established one after another.
1977, the daily crude oil output of Gudao headquarters reached 1 10,000 tons, and the annual crude oil output increased from 20,000 tons in 1970 to 3410.5 million tons.
At the end of 1989, Gudao Oil Production Plant was established, adhering to the fine tradition of "unity, truth-seeking, science and dedication". Gudao Oilfield has maintained an annual output of more than 4 million tons for 20 consecutive years; Continuous 12 years, the annual output is more than 5 million tons, and the highest annual output reaches 5.8 million tons. It has been rated as an efficient oil field in China for six times.
It took only ten years for the Bor well to be put into production to produce 3.99 million tons, which witnessed the speed of the island country. By the end of 20 18, the oil area under the jurisdiction of Gudao had produced a total of1900,000 tons of crude oil, accounting for130 of the national crude oil production in the same period.
After half a century, generations of islanders struggled forward and dedicated themselves to oil.
Once, this was the "Great Northern Wilderness" on the Yellow Triangle Plain; Now, this is the "northern warehouse" of scientific and technological innovation, green and low carbon, and corporate culture.
