Organic architecture's point of view
Imar markowitz

(imre Makovec)

Organic architecture strives to make the part of the building close to the earth, especially the wall foundation, integrate with the earth and use natural materials as much as possible. The upper part of the building should be as light as possible, just as the sky rules the earth. Organic architecture also combined various random and abstract elements, integrated the forces of bending and torsion, concentrated the forces of structure, and then reached the perfect state of harmony between man and nature.

The roof of my house is made of wood. I don't think wood can only be used to make paper. Wood can also be used for doors, windows, floors and roofs. We spend most of our time on construction sites to adapt to natural and environmental conditions and give full play to the effectiveness of natural resources. We are very interested in the sustainability of the earth.

We don't believe in realism, we don't believe in pure art, and we are not interested in international style or globalization. We attach importance to human rights because we understand the original intention of individual roles, which is the meaning of "mask" in ancient Greece, and we refuse aimless virtual reality; On the contrary, we strive to promote the spatial experience based on reality and life prototype. We live in this world not for life and consumption, but for life, because life is the light of human nature. Daniel Lieberman

Only by truly understanding how our hearts and eyes perceive can we have a comprehensive and organic foundation. Human eyes and brains have undergone thousands of years of changes and evolution. In this long process, what they see and feel is mostly the free and unrestrained landscape like the Garden of Eden. There is no doubt that we must learn from nature and find our own model. If we don't want to be accused of destroying the earth, then all decisions about architecture must be based on our conscience about the planet. We must be responsible for the earth itself and all the life living here. (Tadao Ando)

We have encountered the problems of the destruction of the earth and the degradation of human spirit and culture. At this critical moment, we must strive to find a new beginning, that is, to re-understand our environment and re-evaluate our forest and wood culture, which will enrich our hearts.

Among them, the "Wooden Palace" Museum was built to commemorate the 45th National Arbor Day. He is close to the Pacific Ocean, with a special geographical position and beautiful environment, which has given birth to a unique culture. The first consideration in the design is to avoid cutting down trees as much as possible, which makes people feel that the museum grows naturally in the embrace of trees.

People who come to the museum can not only experience the quietness and profundity of the dense forest, but also be infected by the powerful space formed by the building, which is a creation bred by nature and human culture. Then, tourists can relax and experience the liberation of the mind in the water space. In this process, the museum truly combines human culture with nature, providing a profound experience. "The four monotonous walls are like a prison, but if it is full of flowers and plants, it will become a garden."

I devoted myself to art when I was a teenager. At that time, I was full of love for horses and nature. For me, art and architecture are a way to find self-understanding. My design process is very similar to courtship. I must respect all aspects of left and right architectural forms and fully consider their influence on architectural forms in my design.

We are completely natural things. We are born on the earth and belong to it. The universe is still regularly arranged among our members. We are like erratic candlelight, swaying in eternal time and space. Can we, the dust in the soil, also sing to the stars in the morning? (Eugene Xu)

Natural architectural design is the materialized form of human self-esteem, and it is the concrete expression of his eternity and permanence. Architecture is the highest ideal of human beings and the most important material form of human beings. However, for a long time, human beings have neglected the benefits brought by the combination of nature, and the destruction of our planet is increasing day by day, and a pathological condition has begun to appear. The treatment is actually very simple and there is only one way, that is, to face up to a truth that we often ignore: only the generosity and wisdom of nature can human beings live healthily.

To create meaningful and aesthetic buildings, it is necessary to review the source of meaning and aesthetic feeling, that is, in nature. We should make full use of the materials and creativity endowed by nature and give full play to its nature and characteristics, instead of imitating the past forms.

The means we use to understand human nature and explore knowledge all depend on our direct and in-depth exploration of various natural operation modes. Every discovery, every tiny technological progress, depends on our insight and imagination, and the essential material expression of every mysterious natural phenomenon, which is our eternal goal of exploration and discovery. It must be clear that our attitude towards nature is our attitude towards ourselves, because we human beings belong to nature. Javier senosi

Architecture should be a space that can adapt to people's activities and the environment is harmonious. He must meet the material and psychological needs of human beings and fully respect the organic space created by human beings from nature and its history.

The temperature distribution characteristics of urban surface are very different from the natural environment, and the penetration, reflection and absorption rate of light are also different. Grassland, trees and shrubs all help to maintain the temperature balance in the atmosphere, so the microclimate formed by semi-underground buildings on grass roofs ensures effective cooling and heating functions. As a green barrier, the garden filters out direct sunlight and forms shadows, effectively protecting the house from heat, dust and noise. Moreover, the evaporation of water in the forest provides fresh air, and the interaction between the land and the sun can maintain the stability of indoor temperature. The land provides the most natural protection, while the sun provides warmth and light.

When designing a building, the windows should face the most attractive scenery and can provide lighting, and it is best to face south, so that more sunshine can be obtained in cold winter. Just like plants, this underground building space is illuminated by skylights, because the windows can only face in any direction and the light comes from above, so the whole space is full of sunshine.

Because the architectural modeling can conform to the aerodynamic principle, the indoor natural ventilation effect is excellent, just like the human body can resist the change of external temperature, which makes the house warm in winter and cool in summer, and can keep the stable temperature at 18~23 degrees all year round, while its relative temperature remains at 40%~70%, which reduces the chances of residents suffering from respiratory diseases.

In "organic housing" and other engineering projects, we hope to get a space suitable for the human body, just like the nest of mothers or animals, and people are also like cavemen who dig caves for themselves to avoid the wind and rain, or the builders of igloos. But this does not mean that human beings will degenerate into primitive ways, but that they are willing to obey nature. This kind of house is not only a personal seclusion, but also a refuge. Free-form semi-underground houses do not need to worry about the hazards of storms, the impact of earthquakes, and the damage to structures, because the soil on the roof will absorb the vibration caused by falling trees. In addition, the lawn and soil on the roof can protect residents from external fires, because the reinforced concrete structure is very flame retardant and the soil is also a good sound insulation material. Organic architecture's concept did not come from Wright. As early as the eighteenth century, architects rose up against the rut and neglect of function in planning and architecture. Wright just developed this idea to another new stage, emphasizing the integration of form and function. From this perspective, the cliche slogan "Form obeys function" is just a trap. Similarity in areas other than architecture is a common problem in our daily life. Many objects in the same form have all the functions, but in real life, the same is not welcome. Only the unity of aesthetic feeling and practicality is organic architecture's basic idea.

I emphasize the personal experience of innate architecture and the architecture that makes life full of passion. It is the trend of ecological architecture to emphasize learning from nature in design and construction. In a word, organic architecture should always remind us not to think that Mother Nature is a kind of dedication, but to work for her and let her guide your life's practice. If we want to imprison her, only humans will be unlucky in the end.
