Brief introduction of driving computer
Driving computer refers to the computer ECU on the car. Usually, the trip computer has the function of fault self-diagnosis and protection. When the system fails, it can also automatically record the fault code in RAM, and take protective measures to read the replacement program from the inherent program to maintain the engine running.
At the same time, these fault information will be displayed on the dashboard and will be immortal, so that the owner can find the problem in time and drive the car to the repair shop. The results measured by sensors in various parts of the automobile are sent to the computer control module for processing and calculation, and then the signals are output to the engine to control the engine, fuel injection system and ignition advance.
The driving computer is generally installed under the dashboard of the driver's seat or near the wiper linkage. The automobile computing platform represented by the intelligent vehicle information system, namely the central computing system, involves computer, automotive electronics, communication protocols, wireless transmission, GIS, GPS and other technologies, so it is difficult to develop products. At present, the international research in this field has just begun.
