Kyt: k-Kiken, y-Yochi, t-Training, namely, risk prediction activity, is a safety education and training activity aimed at production characteristics and the whole operation process, with risk factors as the object and operation teams as the team. It is a mass self-management activity.
2. Purpose of the activity
Improve employees' sensitivity to danger, attention to work and ability to solve problems, control risks during work, and predict and prevent possible accidents.
3. Scope of application
Simulate scenes, work, activity areas in factories, commuting, etc.
4. Four steps to implement KYT activities
The host (team leader) selects the training content, calls 5 ~ 7 people, and briefly introduces the operation content to be trained first.
Step 1: Find the potential risk factors (1R), focusing on the scene and the present, and let everyone take turns to analyze, find out what the potential risk factors are and imagine (predict or foresee) the possible consequences.
Step 2: Determine the main risk factors (2R), and find out 1 ~ 3 main risk factors among the found risk factors.
Step 3: Find the candidate countermeasures (3R), and work out specific and implementable countermeasures against the main risk factors (the proposed countermeasures must be feasible and not prohibited by laws and regulations) and merge them into 1 ~ 2 most feasible countermeasures.
The fourth step is to determine the implementation countermeasures (4R), unify the thinking, and select the optimized key safety implementation projects from all the countermeasures as the action targets of the group. At the same time, in order to know people and deepen the impression, the host led all the team members to confirm the action goal of the group through finger dictation.
After the activity, all the players signed their names. The host commented on this KYT activity, put forward suggestions for improvement, and announced the contents of the next activity.
5. Key points of implementation
A. The host should give full play to the role of organization and guidance, mobilize the enthusiasm of everyone to speak, and prevent the activity from becoming a one-man show of the host.
B. The process is correct (training must be conducted in strict accordance with 4R requirements); Clear process (each step should achieve the required purpose, grasp the key points, and not be vague and confusing).
C. the form specification is correct.
The risk factors are described accurately and the countermeasures are concrete and feasible.
E. Action objectives should be focused and concise (specific to the post and operation, not identical).
F countermeasures must be taken to prevent activities from becoming a mere formality.
6. implementation of 6.KYT:
1, the monitor is familiar with it, and the team members understand the meaning of KYT, the purpose of KYT activities and the 4R basic methods.
2. Carry out KYT basic exercises and 4R training; KYT training for new employees and keeping records; KYT training is combined with work at least once a month.
3. Carry out KYT training activities for all work activities and places involving teams and groups; Can implement entrusted implementation countermeasures; KYT training system solidified, forming PDCA cycle.
