Xiangfu District is 70 kilometers west of Zhengzhou, the provincial capital, and 64 kilometers away from Xinzheng Airport of Zhengzhou International Airport. Adjacent to Kaifeng City, it is surrounded by Kaifeng City in the east and south, and the urban area is only 7 kilometers away from the center of Kaifeng. Xiangfu area is 40.8 kilometers long and 55 kilometers wide, with a total area of 1302 square kilometers.
Xiangfu District is a part of the alluvial plain of the Yellow River, with high terrain in the northwest and low terrain in the southeast. The Yellow River levee is high beach in the north, low-lying land on the back river in the south, low-lying land in the west and south, and flat terrain in the middle and east. The altitude is between 89.3 meters and 62.5 meters. There are four types of landforms: yellow river accumulation beach, sand dunes alluvial by wind, yellow river alluvial plain and yellow river alluvial low-lying land. The main rivers are Huiji River, Wohe River and Nihe River.
