2 1 century is a new century. Every country is more open, and the exchanges between countries around the world are getting closer and closer. Therefore, it is essential for every member of society to master more than one foreign language. With the increasing comprehensive national strength of China in economy, politics and culture, China's international influence and status are constantly improving, and its exchanges with other countries are becoming more and more frequent, so the importance of learning Chinese is becoming increasingly prominent.
The trade conflict between China and the western countries led by the United States and the impact of the 20 19 epidemic have made the international situation very severe. The demand for Chinese teachers in the international Hanban market has been greatly reduced, which has had a certain impact on the education of Chinese as a foreign language in China, further affected the employment situation of graduates majoring in international Chinese education in China, and led to a large number of professional graduates losing their jobs.
According to the current situation of Chinese international major and our own development plan, our practice team finally focused on the professional investigation of Chinese international education major in order to promote the better development of Chinese international education major.
Secondly, the question is raised
The Confucius Institute has repeatedly broken the circle, the slogan of "Chinese fever" is getting louder and louder, and the news that "there is a big gap in Chinese practitioners" often comes out. But why is the number of applicants for international education in China short? There are still many people who avoid this major. First, write about the problem of "Chinese international education major" in my eyes:
1, weak professional barriers
This major has a wide range of contents and courses, which overlap with the courses of Chinese language and literature and English majors. However, the curriculum of international education major in China is different from its major, and most of the major courses are set as minor courses, which makes China students learn better than Chinese language and literature majors, and English majors learn better than English majors. When interviewing Mr. China, some professional students often have an advantage. For example, when applying for a Korean foreign teacher, students who can speak Korean often have an advantage.
2. Problems of professional curriculum and training methods.
At present, this major is blooming everywhere in major universities. However, due to various reasons, many schools offer superficial majors without their own advantages and practical curriculum objectives and plans. The courses of Chinese international education major are mostly a patchwork of linguistics, Chinese language and literature, pedagogy and English major. There are few other courses about China traditional culture and practical teaching, which will deviate from our major.
3, the problem of counterpart work
Most of the real counterpart work of Chinese international education major is abroad, and most of the work places are concentrated in Southeast Asia and Africa. Due to the political situation, few people can really go to developed areas. Teaching Chinese as a foreign language not only faces difficulties in language and culture, customs and social stability, but also has a narrow and single teaching method. Domestic counterpart work is mainly concentrated in major universities and international schools, with less demand for talents and higher requirements for academic qualifications, as well as Chinese training institutions in first-and second-tier cities. In addition, our major requires us to have strong cross-cultural communication ability and social adaptability. In addition, referring to the previous data, few professional students can really become Hanban volunteers. On the one hand, the application process of Hanban volunteers is strict, complicated and time-consuming; On the other hand, Hanban volunteers have time constraints. Most of them don't want to stay abroad forever, so they will choose to stay in China after volunteering, which leads to many graduates actually becoming Chinese teachers in China. To sum up, various reasons have caused the problem that our major is not right.
4. Professional popularity.
The major of Chinese International Education was established in the late 1980s to meet the needs of China's reform and opening up and the spread of China's traditional culture. Although it is now blooming everywhere in major universities, its popularity is generally low. There are few schools offering this major, few applicants and few people who know it, which leads to the low social popularity of our major. At the same time, most people only have the impression of "hearing about" this major and "teaching foreigners to learn Chinese", but they know little about the real situation of this major. In addition, because it is a relatively new major in recent years, although the market is broad, the employment space and scope are relatively small, and no large-scale employment platform and employment channels have been formed. Therefore, this major has a situation of "promising but difficult employment".
5, professional self-confidence is not strong.
Take our school as an example. Compared with ace majors such as electrical engineering, Chinese international education has a shorter time. In addition, the school cancelled our Chinese international education this year, which reduced our professional confidence. At the same time, the major of Chinese international education requires us not only to have strong professional knowledge, but also to know the excellent traditional culture of China, such as paper-cutting, Thai Fan Chi, calligraphy and so on. But also requires us to have strong cross-cultural communication skills and strong adaptability. In addition, we also need to know the history of cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries and the cultures of other countries. Finally, coupled with our professional social recognition is not high, the influence is not strong. These various factors have caused us to feel insecure about our major. This lack of self-confidence may have a negative impact on our future employment.
Third, solve the problem.
In view of many problems encountered in the development of Chinese as a foreign language in China, our team conducted an analysis and research based on the results of the questionnaire survey, and after consulting relevant materials, we came up with the following solutions.
1. Solve the problem of weak occupational barriers
In view of the weak professional barriers, many people think that the students majoring in Chinese international education have not studied deeply enough, and their knowledge has been generalized, which has formed a one-sided understanding of the major, which has led to difficulties in professional employment. Therefore, how to solve this kind of problem has become the key. These days, our practice team explored some solutions through interviews and surveys.
(1) The position of modern Chinese in the training program to improve students' Chinese knowledge should continue to rise. Modern Chinese is a basic course, which is of great significance for training Chinese teachers with professional counterparts. Some interesting online courses and group discussions can be provided to promote students' professional ability.
(B) to enhance cross-cultural communication skills in communication. Through the teacher's speech, students learn from the sidelines, thus learning how to teach and communicate with foreign students. This will help them improve their cross-cultural communication ability, increase their added value, eliminate prejudice and prepare for employment.
(3) Improve students' coordination ability. Paying equal attention to both Chinese and English is an important feature of this major. Therefore, how to coordinate our study time and how to make our study plan should be the focus of our attention. Therefore, students can be advised to read books on time management, give lectures, improve their self-management ability, let students know their own direction of efforts, grasp the present situation, master knowledge little by little, and grow into excellent Chinese teachers with corresponding needs.
2. Professional curriculum and training methods to solve the problem
The changes that have taken place in China in the past ten or even twenty years since the reform and opening up have been recognized by the people of the whole country and the international community. Therefore, the influence of China culture is growing, and many people want to learn China culture, so they come to learn Chinese. Moreover, according to statistics, the number of people learning Chinese is increasing every year.
Cultural self-confidence is a nation, a country and a political party's full affirmation and active practice of their own endowments and cultural values. Cultural self-confidence is indispensable. Without cultural self-confidence, young newcomers can't set up lofty ideals, realize self-worth and complete the historical mission of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Therefore, it is very important to integrate cultural self-confidence into all aspects of Lide Shu Ren. In the course of Chinese international education, the practical study of China traditional culture is arranged alternately, so that students can be influenced by traditional culture and craft while learning professional knowledge, so that everyone can realize the superiority of China traditional culture and enhance their pride and self-confidence from the inside out. Under such influence, all the young people in China can become "four haves" and "new youth" with all-round development. Organic combination of theoretical teaching and practical teaching: All teachers of Chinese as a foreign language must realize the importance of combining theoretical teaching with practical teaching, starting from practice and life. Teachers should learn to make full use of class time, make reasonable arrangements and combine theory with practice. Actively carry out practical activities, apply what you have learned, review the old and learn new things, achieve twice the result with half the effort, and deepen the learning impression of the educated. You can use your own resources or contacts to organize characteristic Chinese practice activities, so that students can actively participate, entertain and educate, deepen their impressions and get twice the result with half the effort.
3. Solve the problem of counterpart work
Facing the embarrassing situation and slow development of TCFL, from the perspective of employment, the construction and development of TCFL can start from the following two aspects.
(A) to meet the needs of the talent market, reflecting the direction and diversity of training objectives in the discipline orientation.
Due to the diversification of the demand for Chinese as a foreign language professionals, the cultivation of Chinese as a foreign language professionals should also take a diversified road. Of course, the design of diversification road should not only consider the multiple motivations and demand levels of foreigners coming to China to learn languages, but also consider the large demand for language-applied talents in the domestic talent market. Sometimes, the demand of the latter often determines the future development of TCFL. Therefore, after the professional training of TCFL meets the professional requirements, diversified design should be considered in the setting of professional direction or the classification of professional elective courses to meet the needs of graduates' employment or further study.
In addition, the major of Chinese international education is an applied liberal arts, which is different from traditional disciplines in that it is more flexible, that is, Chinese international education can adopt some short, flat and fast tactics according to the changes of the market in terms of professional direction and curriculum setting. Therefore, as long as the major of Chinese international education follows the law of talent cultivation, grasps the demand trend of talent market, takes flexible professional direction and curriculum setting as the adjustment direction, highlights the characteristics of the major and constructs the curriculum system reasonably and scientifically, it can achieve the goal of cultivating talents that the market really needs.
(2) While strengthening professional education, guide students to adjust their employment mentality and change their employment concept.
In short, the employment prospects of graduates of this major are still good. However, there are still some old ideas that affect the employment of graduates of this major. Faced with this situation, we should actively guide students to adjust their employment mentality and change their employment concept.
First of all, we should educate students to study hard, lay a good foundation and broaden employment channels through multiple channels. From the beginning of students' study, we should emphasize the importance of professional study, encourage students to study hard, lay a solid foundation, learn the culture with China characteristics, and strive to improve their foreign language level.
Second, students should be encouraged to look for rich internship opportunities. On the one hand, the school should broaden the internship platform for students, on the other hand, students should try to find more internship opportunities to provide a good opportunity for their own development.
Third, we should objectively analyze the actual situation and have a clear employment orientation. Students should be warned to have a stable mentality when choosing a job, not to be too idealistic about the actual work, but to be down-to-earth
Fourth, we should broaden our horizons, enrich ourselves and actively seek foreign development opportunities. The demand for Chinese teachers abroad is more and more urgent, which is a good development opportunity for graduates of this major, but it also puts forward some higher requirements for graduates. Because people who teach Chinese abroad should not only have a good professional knowledge base, but also have strong cross-cultural communication ability and hard-working quality. In addition, we should have comprehensive quality. Therefore, students majoring in Chinese international education should not only have a solid professional foundation and foreign language ability, but also constantly enhance their comprehensive ability and improve their comprehensive quality.
4. Solve the problem of professional popularization
Although Chinese has gained a certain popularity, the popularity of its related majors in Chinese international education is still not high, so how to effectively improve the popularity of Chinese international education in today's society? This is a complicated problem.
First, set up more characteristic courses and optimize the curriculum system. Curriculum setting is the focus of talent training. You can decide what type and level of talents to train and what kind of professional work you can be competent for in the future. Whether it is called teaching Chinese as a foreign language or international Chinese education, its basic connotation has not changed. The core is teaching, that is, training teachers. Chinese is the foundation, focusing on practicality, emphasizing language foundation, which needs to be paved by learning language; Finally, it is external, involving psychology and psycholinguistic knowledge. Therefore, the setting of specialized courses needs to have strong characteristics.
Second, strengthen the construction of teaching staff and implement the teacher examination and approval system. Teachers are also in a key position in professional development. In order to strengthen the construction of teaching staff, we must strengthen the training of existing teachers and improve their quality.
Third, open up the road of international cooperation and implement the design of career diversion. At present, the counterpart teaching place of Chinese international education major is Confucius Institute, which has made important contributions to attracting Chinese international educators. However, it has the characteristics of non-profit, so facing the huge market demand of its specialty, this simple institution can't meet the growing demand at all. Colleges and universities should flexibly use their academic advantages to export China graduates through various effective channels, and at the same time, they can also absorb foreign students. This not only expands the ways and means of employment for graduates majoring in Chinese international education, but also provides them with a platform for practice.
Fourth, the research significance
Through this investigation and practical research, our China international education practice team has gained a lot of team time in the process of team practice. Mainly divided into four aspects: first, cultivate our team cooperation ability. In the process of team practice, team leader Yan Kangkang led the team members to cooperate sincerely, with detailed division of labor and clear goals, which fully reflected the spirit of collective cooperation. Second, the progress of questionnaire research has been accelerated. In the early stage of investigation, do a good job of division of labor and carry out work at the same time; When encountering problems, * * * will quickly discuss and solve them. These processes can only be realized by team research. Third, improve our social skills. In the process of organizing the distribution of questionnaires, team members mobilized all walks of life around them to actively participate and try their best to expand the audience scope of the questionnaires; Communication plays an important role in sharing professional knowledge with others. When designing the content of the questionnaire, to ensure that the questionnaire is easy to understand, it needs enough language organization ability, which is also an important part of social skills. Fourthly, it is beneficial to the development of international education in China. First of all, the results of this questionnaire survey show that the community knows little about this major and there are some misunderstandings, which shows that the important task of Chinese international education is a long way to go. To sum up, team research is better, more efficient, more knowledgeable and more effective than individual research.
The social practice of "Seeking Truth and Dreaming for the Future" in the School of Literature, History and Media has investigated the present situation and prospects of international education in China, which is of great significance to personal development. First of all, the way of group investigation improves the ability of communication and cooperation between individuals and others, and each group member needs to do a good job of communication and cooperation within the team to complete the work better; Externally, whether it is a questionnaire survey or an interview with an investigation team, it is necessary to communicate with outsiders in order to collect survey data and information. Secondly, this research activity promotes the good completion of the research task by refining the work task and time arrangement, and also promotes the students to develop good habits of planning tasks and time planning, reduce procrastination in their later lives, and embark on a self-disciplined life path. Thirdly, through this special investigation, we have learned about the current situation, prospects and existing problems of the major of Chinese international education, and gained various understandings-national support, increased demand and great significance ... thus enhancing our understanding of the major, and playing a positive and constructive role in our personal study and life focus, future career development planning and development goals. In addition, the questionnaire design, news writing, online meeting and other activities in the research activities not only increased personal skills, but also stimulated personal innovation spirit and promoted us to grow into all-round innovative talents.
The establishment and development of Chinese international education specialty is closely related to the current international situation. In this study, the question of questionnaire setting starts from the current international situation and makes assumptions about the future development of international education major in China. According to the survey results, nearly 80% of the respondents believe that although Sino-US relations are not friendly at present, in the whole international environment, especially in China, the economic strength continues to develop and the comprehensive national strength continues to increase, and the major of Chinese international education will develop considerably in the future and will get better and better. This not only reflects China's growing national strength, but also reflects our strong national self-confidence.
For the major of Chinese international education, most people are most concerned about their work after graduation. Hanban volunteers are a career that students majoring in Chinese international education are willing to choose, and they are also counterparts of Chinese international education. However, due to the current epidemic situation, whether the development of Chinese international education will be affected becomes a problem. In this research survey, the questionnaire set special questions about the development of international education in China and the impact of the epidemic. According to the survey results, people engaged in Chinese international education and Chinese international education professionals believe that the impact of this epidemic on Chinese international education is only temporary, and the development prospect of Chinese international education is worth looking forward to.
The significance of new professional development. Many people say that Chinese international education is a new major. According to our questionnaire and analysis of the recycling situation, this statement should also be proved. As a new major, it is of great significance to study the present situation and prospect of Chinese international education. On the one hand, professional investigation and research can make more people know about this major, improve its popularity, and make this major known and understood by everyone like Chinese language and literature. The development of a major needs constant innovation and vitality. Our team's investigation and study can find out the advantages and disadvantages of this major, so as to put forward solutions and promote the better development of this major. In terms of employment, the employment situation of a major is closely related to the number of people engaged in this major. Our investigation and study specifically analyzed the employment situation of this major. There are many employment directions for Chinese international education majors, but the most suitable one is to teach Chinese as a foreign language abroad, which is what many students want to do. However, due to family reasons, many parents do not want their students to be away for a long time. Based on this, most students choose to go out through Hanban and stay outside for a year or two before coming back, so the overseas job market for this major is very vacant. Most people become Chinese teachers in middle schools after returning to China, which is also the choice of many people. If you want to choose this position, then students need to make more preparations to compete with Chinese language and literature people. As far as principals are concerned, the major of Chinese international education has a wide range of employment, and the market for the most engaged Chinese teachers as a foreign language and Chinese teachers in middle schools is not saturated, so the professional employment prospects are good.
Verb (abbreviation of verb) summary and sublimation
Seeking Truth and Realizing the Future "The research and practice team of China International Education Status and Prospect started social practice on June 26th, 20021year, and ended this social practice activity on July 60th, 20021year. With everyone's unity and hand in hand, we have reached a certain degree of relaxation and relaxation from the initial confusion when facing various problems to the later handling. From the social survey, it is found that most students don't know much about Chinese international education. Although the development momentum of our major is getting stronger and stronger, there are still many people who don't understand this major. Through this practice, we can clearly see our future development. Whether taking the postgraduate entrance examination or choosing Hanban is a contribution to the continuous development of our major.
This survey not only let us know the popularity of this major, but also publicized our major in turn, so that more people can understand this major. This major is really important. This major undertakes the important task of teaching foreigners to learn Chinese and China culture. Our major is a bridge for China's excellent traditional culture to go international. At school, we not only learn professional knowledge, but also learn traditional culture, such as calligraphy, Tai Chi fan, paper cutting and so on. We regard China's excellent traditional culture as our spiritual core and our professional knowledge as our limbs and trunk. We bravely went abroad, spread Chinese characters and Chinese, and let those foreign friends who love China appreciate the beauty of China constantly. There are the best teachers in this major. The four teachers interviewed in this survey are excellent teachers of Chinese as a foreign language and have experience in teaching foreigners Chinese. We respect teachers, teachers care for us, and teachers and students inherit each other. They passed on the spirit of international education in China to us. We integrate this spirit into ourselves and export it to the outside world, and strive to let foreign friends know about our country's vast territory, rich resources and profound history.
This survey lets us know that our development prospects are not optimistic. We are sincere in teaching foreigners Chinese, so we should study harder. The development of international education in China is closely related to the international situation. International relations are peaceful and friendly, but our major is developing vigorously. International relations are not harmonious and our major development is full of difficulties. Facing the current international situation, as young people in China, we should not infringe on the national interests for our personal interests. We must resolutely oppose the sanctions imposed on us by the United States and support all the decisions made by the state. In this survey, we also learned that many students in this major did not join Hanban or teach Chinese to foreigners after graduation, mainly because of family factors. Most of the students in this major are girls. Parents don't trust their children to go abroad alone, so they object to their children going abroad to teach Chinese. Family is of course a very important factor, but we should not fetter our dreams and our flying wings because of family.

Young people prosper the country and strengthen the country. Only when the younger generation has ideals and responsibilities can the country have hope and the nation have a future. As young people in the new era, we contemporary college students should take the initiative to shoulder the heavy responsibility of national rejuvenation, gain insight from social practice, gain insight into the future, and continue to gain and grow. Brick by brick, the socialist cause is built, and the people's happy life is realized bit by bit. During my trip to Wan Li, I didn't forget the route, drinking water and thinking about the source, and I didn't forget my proactive mind. In the new era, young people should keep in mind their initial heart and mission, devote themselves to socialist construction, learn professional knowledge and skills with a never-ending mental state and indomitable struggle posture, keep in mind the spirit of unity and cooperation, spread Chinese excellent traditional culture and revive China.
"Xiu Yuan Road is long and its Xiu Yuan is awkward, and I will go up and down." Realizing the truth is a small step in social practice. One generation has a long March, and another generation has a mission. The younger generation should contribute to the society, Do not forget your initiative mind, forge ahead, and be a new person responsible for national rejuvenation. I only hope that what I can see from now on is the annual blossom, the only China. At the end of the hustle and bustle, the sun is shining, the wind is light and the clouds are light, which is a twin flower in the years. I wish China prosperity, peace and prosperity; I wish my young people in China a bright future.
