Reflections on Music Reading 1
I benefited a lot from reading the book "Walking into the Hall of Symphonic Music". As a music major, the knowledge contained in this book is exactly what I lack. Symphony music is an elegant music category with high taste in music art. After several centuries of development and evolution, it still has high vitality. It is an art form recognized by all countries in the world.
? Walking into the Temple of Symphonic Music tells the whole development of symphonic music in chronological order. Like a musical chronicle. This book introduces the three stages of symphonic music's emergence, development and maturity, as well as symphonic music of different national styles.
Through reading, I made clear the development context of symphonic music; Mastered the artistic style and value orientation of symphony music in different periods and stages; Understand the outstanding contributions made by different musicians in the whole development period of symphonic music. Through reading, I learned about the appreciation of symphony music, the common genres of symphony music, the theoretical knowledge of symphony music and how to appreciate symphony.
Under the guidance of Walking into the Hall of Symphonic Music, I returned to the Baroque period when symphonic music was produced. I saw the contributions made by Bach and Handel, great musicians in Baroque period, as the founders of symphonic music.
With the passage of time, symphonic music ushered in the rapid development period of Vienna classical music school. Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, the names of these great musicians remind me of their beautiful melodies.
In The Romantic Period, Europe, the music industry is booming. Many musicians contend. Symphonic music such as Weber, Schubert, Berlioz, Mendelssohn, Chopin, Liszt, Schumann, Verdi, Wagner, johann strauss, Brahms, Saint-Sang, etc. matured and flourished in this period, with diverse genres and was deeply loved by people.
Reading this book not only made me understand symphonic music, but more importantly, the detailed introduction of musicians in the book made me learn more. Now people think that these musicians are regarded as great men, but in the feudal era when they lived, most of them were born in poverty and were at the bottom of class society. However, these musicians, especially those after the classical music school, are increasingly reluctant to give in because of the influence of the bourgeois enlightenment. They advocate freedom and democracy and use music as a weapon to praise the bourgeois revolution.
Adversity makes people progress. Listen, most of these musicians grew up in adversity. Mozart lived in poverty in his later years. Beethoven was deaf and deaf. But fate didn't hit these giants. It is life in adversity that enriches their life experience and cultivates their indomitable character. And turn everything in my heart into creative inspiration. Of course, the musician's diligence and eagerness to learn is also the basis of his artistic attainments.
After reading "Walking into the Hall of Symphony Music", I improved my appreciation of symphony and touched the context of symphony music. Walking into the Hall of Symphonic Music made me know more about great musicians in different periods. This knowledge will also greatly promote my future professional level.
Read the book "Walking into the Hall of Symphonic Music" and learn the spirit of musicians' studious and tenacious creation. And bring these spirits into your own life, constantly improve yourself, encourage yourself and achieve your own bright future.
Reflections on Music Reading II
After reading the book Music Education Letters by Mr. Guo, I can't be calm for a long time. I really have mixed feelings: happy, excited, sorry, depressed and moved. ...
I think this book is not only for music teachers in primary and secondary schools, but also for every music teacher in service. In the past, I always felt that the theory of music education in universities was too advanced and too far away, and the teachers in universities were all above us, so it was difficult to understand the "dilemma" of our front-line teachers. Our front-line teachers urgently needed some academic experts to give us some explanations and help, because your height might be higher and farther than ours.
Only after reading it did I know that there were "academic experts" like Professor Guo who were "concerned" and "concerned" about our front-line teachers. Your theory can also make us relax without looking up! Our front-line teachers are not isolated. We are lucky to have experts like you give us some advice to help us judge ourselves in time when we are confused, not just Mr. Xiaomi in the book.
Before reading this book, I also obviously felt as if I had entered a period of job burnout. My school is also a rural school. In the fifth year, the teaching of senior one and senior two is repeated every year, with about 10 classes in each grade. Besides music, I also have part-time jobs in other courses, and the intense and heavy rehearsal tasks in my spare time make me breathless. Sometimes I feel uneasy after class. Reflect on yourself, there seems to be no progress recently, like a machine running, not a teacher that students need! I don't want to be a machine myself. This is also the warning that I watched a movie "Three Idiots" recently: Teachers are not machine operators, nor operators who produce fixed products.
The puzzles in previous teaching are answered in the book. Thank you, Mr. Guo, for sharing the growth of Mr. Xiaomi with us, and at the same time let us see our own shortcomings:
I. Equality between teachers and students
Like Xiaomi, I'm still trying to figure out how to do this. After reading teacher Guo's answer, I know that this kind of class is needed not only in the United States, but also in the United States. We need it. We should have it. Ideas can be changed. We may not be able to change the social system and the concept of equality, but we can change it in a small classroom. Knowing this, it is not difficult to understand why students are not enthusiastic in class, and their participation is low. Reflecting on being a teacher is too far away from students. In order to make music approach students' hearts, first of all, it is urgent for me to put down my lofty teacher shelf and the cold knowledge structure of teaching materials and understand students' needs in equal dialogue!
This is a rural middle school, not a student in the city. First of all, I demand too much from their study. I need to think and reposition.
Second, textbook-led teaching
In the past, I always felt that the teaching materials were like imperial edicts, and the teaching and research activities were open. Expert opinion is the main idea of teaching. If they don't think about it, they should do it. As a result, slowly, I found that I couldn't find myself. In the first year of work, I was still very passionate in class and had many ideas. Now I find that I can't even find myself after being criticized. Is the textbook really irrefutable and beyond doubt?
Year after year, when you numbly produce products day after day, you will get bored! Why can't you restore yourself? If you want to be a "loyal supporter" of teaching materials, why don't you dare to question and expand?
Third, a single teaching model.
Singing class is just one sentence for you and one sentence for me. Appreciation class is to explain the background, listen to the whole song, analyze the structure, and talk about the musical elements. Instrumental class is also one sentence for you and me. It's a traditional class, but in fact, my own class is nothing more than this now. I am in mechanical operation. I don't know how I got into such an "ancient" teaching mode. Walking like this, I feel I can't find the north. Looking back, I was ambitious to change this old music teaching mode, but I turned out to be its "loyal supporter". When I see my classroom sometimes become like this, I feel uncomfortable and even afraid. Is this a lesson that a young music teacher should take?
Teacher Xiaomi's innovation, I saw her bold innovation and success! This is not a change that one or two classes can come out of a long time ago, but a change that students are "influenced" by a carefully managed class. It may be a long time from students' fear to singing, or it may be a casual change of teachers' ideas. My students, Grade Three students, didn't see their complete changes until the next semester from Grade One to Grade Two. Xiaomi's method is more effective than mine! Worth learning!
Fourthly, the status of music discipline is promoted through extracurricular literary competitions.
I used to feel that under such a heavy teaching task, I had to help rehearse and guide one lesson after another. I hate to part with it, and even threw it away with one hand. The class teacher made it for himself. The class teacher kicked the ball to us, and the students were caught in the middle, naturally complaining. The low quality of the program will naturally affect the class image, and even more affect the class's attention to music subjects. Now, it seems necessary to correct my previous view of "caring" and regard it as my own work, which is also a good foundation for better classroom teaching in the future and an opportunity to tap talents.
Fifth, the influence of the choir can not be ignored.
Our school has never participated in a municipal competition before and won the third prize or above. Besides, it is a team competition composed of so many people. At the 11th Chorus Festival this year, the choir of our school won the second prize! This is a team that I am proud of now. Because I left the third grade, I lost a lot of intermediate strength and needed to re-select and train. It will take a long time. In the rehearsal when the members of Grade Three left, they still conveyed their enthusiasm to me with moving songs. As a teacher, I can't help crying. I know my efforts are worth it! Although it seems that we are struggling now, the headmaster's attention is far from enough, and the stage for showing us is not enough, district leaders and foreign schools now know that although our grades are not good, there is a choir with a good mental outlook! This is also the result of our efforts, and we should not give up.
I want to sum up the competition and the rehearsal records, including the feelings of the choir students after the game, and let them write it themselves. This is my wealth! Cherish it.
Sixth, the relationship between knowledge and skills and moral education.
Usually in class, I always attach great importance to imparting knowledge and skills. Feeling moral education and emotional education are gradually ignored. After reading this book, I feel ashamed. Students' "aesthetics" and students' "fun of participating in experience" are the most important. "Knowledge" can't follow students all their lives, but emotional education can be moral education, but personal cooperation and experience can accompany them to grow up and affect their lives. Do we music educators think too much of art? Are we wrong? Is there a hierarchy in art? Is there a hierarchy in the audience?
Don't! Therefore, the music we give students should not be empty knowledge that strips away emotions, but should be a wonderful melody with life!
Seven, find our main value.
I remember that the teacher I didn't know before was still joking: "Why do you always feel tired as a music teacher, then we don't have to live!" "Every time I hear that, I feel uncomfortable. As many people have seen, "the social status of music teachers is not high" is a common phenomenon. I know I can't change everyone's opinion by myself. However, I also work silently every day with my own actions, pay silently, and proudly tell my peers with my own attitude: "I am proud to be a music teacher"! This is an irreplaceable subject. Similarly, our position is irreplaceable. Our subject charm is just like our music teacher's personality charm. How many souls music has given us, how many we have passed on!
A good book can affect a person's life. I don't remember who said that. Let me borrow it here. I'm glad I read this book when I was confused. It is like a street lamp in navigation, which illuminates my loneliness and makes me suddenly feel that the direction is there, not only for me, but also for many partners, leading to the other side, which is a happy destination!
I hope every music teacher, you are all happy!
Reflections on music reading 3
Music history is an important cultural phenomenon of human beings, which has experienced a long history. With the development of human society, music is constantly developing and changing. When people face such a complicated and huge historical and cultural phenomenon, it always makes us think a lot. Many Chinese musicologists have devoted themselves to the exploration and research of this culture, and thus created a masterpiece of music history. This book is divided into sixteen chapters. The first to fourth chapters discuss the main phenomena of ancient and medieval music, including the music of ancient Greece and Rome. Medieval religion and music; /kloc-the birth and development of polyphonic music and the vigorous rise of new art in the 0/4th century. Chapter five to chapter seven, Renaissance music, discusses the Burgundy school, the Flemish school, and all kinds of music that teaches and opposes religion. Chapter 8- 10, involving the baroque period, focuses on the birth and early development of opera, the status of instrumental music and Handel, two great musicians in the late baroque period. Chapters 1 1 to 12 discuss classical music. The pre-classical period is discussed first, and then the three masters of Vienna classical music school, especially Beethoven, are discussed separately, which is more extensive. Chapters 13 to 16 discuss in detail the romantic music of 19 century, which not only involves many music masters, but also combs the development clues of important music schools. There is no doubt that this overview of music history is comprehensive and detailed.
Looking back on the development of music history, we can know that it started with data collection and story recording. From the related materials of music history, I know that Dou Shi recorded the origin, development and great composers of music in the form of stories. The budding music historiography began to take shape, and in the18th century, real historiography appeared.
/kloc-the study of music history in the 0/9th century entered a mature stage, during which medieval music became the focus of research, and the biographies of composers became more perfect. After the 20th century, the history of music began to have new research methods, and the expansion and diversification of research fields were the characteristics of the history of music in the 20th century. After World War II, new progress has been made in the study of music history, with an unprecedented scale of historical materials and more exchanges and integration between music history and related disciplines. This is a development process of music history. Looking back on the history of music, we can clearly feel the vastness and harmony of this project. The book pays attention to the study of style, an important factor in the development of music, regards the evolution of music style as an important process of music development, describes different musical phenomena in different periods from ancient civilization to the 20th century, and takes style as an important topic. This book is of great help to understand the styles and evolution of different periods and even to learn more about music. The author once said that the purpose of compiling his own history is to outline the process of music history on the premise of clarifying the meaning of his works. While describing music, the author also tells us that we must pay attention to the important role of the style of music works in the historical development of music. To look at the history of music, we must start with the origin of music, and the history of music is still a puzzling problem. There are few historical materials of early music, which can't provide effective research basis. We can only trace back ancient music with very few records, supplemented by some sculptures and buildings. Of course, this is unconvincing.
After years of research, the book divides music into seven periods: ancient period, medieval period, Renaissance period, Baroque period, classical period, The Romantic Period and 20th century modern period. This division is of great help to grasp musicians and musicians' works in different periods. This book gives an in-depth description of The Romantic Period's music. Romanticism is a brand-new period in the history of music, which develops with great social unrest. An important feature of romantic music is to explore folk art. Composers in many countries have a strong interest in national history, culture and folk music, and use rich folk music as writing materials. However, scholars have different opinions on the study of romantic music history. Therefore, this issue remains controversial.
In the book, we can deeply feel that with the continuous development of society, music has also entered the tide of the 20th century. In the 20th century, science and technology had a great influence on creative tools, musical expression means and methods, and the development of music was closely related to science and technology. Music in the 20th century rebelled against classical music. There is a widespread ideology in society that music in the 20th century is a declining phenomenon. This must also be reflected in the professional music industry. Elaborating the 20th century music as a special chapter represents a kind of progress of Chinese music concept, a process from never accepting to accepting, and a gradual process of looking at the achievements of the 20th century with a correct concept. Music, as a unique cultural phenomenon of human beings, its artistic beauty determines its value and can be accepted by all mankind. Of course, it can also be accepted by China people, so the study of music history will be carried out in China for a long time. It also has a far-reaching impact on the development of Chinese music.
Reflections on Music Reading (IV)
Finally, I used the summer vacation to read Teacher Guo Shengjian's Music Education Letter. At first, when I asked my classmate what good books were worth recommending, she said this book without hesitation. Actually, I heard about it in college, but I have been busy with other things, so I haven't seen it. I have been working for a year now, and I can review my teaching this year better when I come back to see it. Combining the problems encountered by Xiaomi and the problems I encountered when I first worked, this
This book should be suitable for every primary and secondary school teacher who has just taken office or has served for many years to read carefully. It involves teachers' professional ethics and educational love, as well as teachers' concept of specialization and independent development. This is not only related to the current music education and teaching in primary and secondary schools in China, but also a reflection on the current situation of teacher education in China, so that our front-line music teachers can get answers and help from some experts. Therefore, we are not only the luck of teacher Xiaomi, but also the luck of every music teacher we have read.
I changed from a student to a teacher in the past year. From the first time I heard someone calling me a teacher, I am now very indifferent to this job. From thinking that a music teacher is just teaching people to sing, to discovering that a music teacher is not just teaching a few songs. From thinking that being a music teacher is not stressful, to discovering that music teachers are under great pressure. This year, great changes have taken place in both the role and my own psychology. Seeing Xiaomi's problems and puzzles, many of them are.
Watching Xiaomi talk about what happened in her first class, I felt as if I had returned to the day when I first boarded the platform. I am full of excitement, tension and excitement. Fortunately, I didn't run into the wrong classroom like Xiaomi. The first class also told them some classroom routines, thinking that everything would be fine as long as they could finish this class. Before class, I heard some seniors tell me that "the first class must be fierce, otherwise students will find it difficult to control you after you are bullied." So in the first class, I always give them orders in a commanding tone, so when I saw Mr. Guo say that I want to establish a harmonious and equal relationship with students, I found that I didn't do it, and rushing to establish authority was counterproductive. As Mr. Guo said, many new teachers think that the establishment of teachers' prestige is achieved through strict requirements, especially in the first class, which gives students a "blow" or "duel".
In fact, the prestige of teachers is mainly established by their own personality charm, professional ethics, knowledge literacy, teaching level and effect, and close relationship with students. This needs a process, and it cannot be done overnight. A familiar teacher at the back told me why you didn't laugh when the first class in our class was fierce. This will make students feel that you are not easy to contact at all, which will really backfire. Students don't like you, and your prestige has not been established. It seems that we should learn to grope slowly in future classes.
Many people think that music class is a mode of teaching singing. It's not difficult for the teacher to sing one sentence and the students to sing one sentence. This is traditional teaching. At the beginning, that's what I taught. Nothing new. I thought that as long as the students learned this song, they achieved their goal. When someone tells me that you are behind the times and the teaching mode is too simple, you should change the teaching mode. This is actually saying that your class is poor, and I felt very bad at that time.
A young music teacher's class is not young at all. It seems that he is really careless. Music class is to cultivate students' aesthetic ability, not to think that students can master as many skills as teachers teach. We should try our own way to arouse students' interest and make them really like music and your music class. Don't make students feel bored, bored or even afraid of teaching, so that they don't like music lessons. This is too bad.
Sometimes other teachers will easily finish a class with the same content, and students will study hard. Why do they feel particularly hard when they attend? At the beginning, I will have time to go to other music teachers' classes and imitate her class style, so that I can find a breakthrough and know what music classes are all about. Gradually, I will take classes according to the class situation, and take classes in a way that they like and accept, so that students feel happy and I am happy.
Teacher Guo said that Xiaomi's "I'm afraid of a quiet class" touched him very much, and so did I, and I often wondered whether the music class was quiet or lively. Of course, "silence" is incompatible with music class. When will it be quiet? When listening to songs for the first time, I especially emphasized listening. Of course, this time is very short, and only one song is needed at most, so students' little agitation will appear. As a teacher, I am particularly afraid of students making noise in class. It takes a lot of energy to maintain discipline when you have little experience at first, but once you are too quiet, you feel uncomfortable. Quiet music class doesn't need to be too quiet. Quiet music class is the most taboo.
What we need is students' participation and communication. Every student is the protagonist in the music class, so he can let himself go and really participate. Music teaching is not just about teachers imparting knowledge and skills. Only through students' personal experience of music can the knowledge and skills imparted by teachers be drawn into their own knowledge and skills structure. We should not only teach students to sing, but also personally guide them to play, create and listen, so as to cultivate their interest and make them feel that music lessons are very interesting.
This book needs to be understood and studied slowly, and I believe it will be improved.
Reflections on Music Reading Chapter 5
A donkey grinds wheat hard every day. He is too old to grind any more. His master planned to kill him. The donkey ran away and planned to be a musician in Wuzhen. On the way, I met a dog, a cat and a rooster. They all suffered the same thing. They went to Bremen together as musicians. One night, when they were about to have a rest, they saw a little fire in the distance, so they went to look for food. This is a robber's house. The robbers are eating and drinking. Four musicians played together, scaring away the robbers. Finally, they lived happily there.
This story shows that unity is strength. As long as we are United, we can overcome any difficulties. Think about ourselves. Aren't you ashamed to see it?
A few days ago, the school held a tug-of-war competition. When it was our turn, in the first game, we all listened to the teacher's arrangement, so we beat Class Four.
However, in the second game, our two classes changed venues. Because some people don't listen to the teacher's arrangement, stand with their partners at will, don't listen to the slogan of cheerleading, and are selfish, our class could have beaten Class 4, but now it has become the last one.
Why are there always those individuals who wander freely, regard the school as a free market and their home, and drag our class back? In the classic story "The Real Musician in Bremen", in our eyes, we are all old, weak, sick and disabled animals who don't understand emotions. However, they also defeated the robbers with unity and lived in the house.
Unity is strength. If you can unite and help each other in our life, you will certainly overcome the difficulties.
Reflections on Music Reading (VI)
? The book "New Perspectives of Music Teaching" gives a new explanation of music teaching from the perspectives of music thinking, emotion and culture, and on the basis of studying the characteristics of music by using the theory of image thinking, probes into the relationship between music thinking, music emotion, culture and music education. Put forward the viewpoint of "music teaching in culture", advocate enriching students' emotional experience of music, developing musical thinking, guiding students to deeply feel and understand music, giving full play to various functions and functions of music in cultural background, and promoting students' all-round development; Aiming at some problems existing in current music teaching, this paper puts forward some improved methods and suggestions.
Entering the 2 1 century, the world music education has made great progress. People realize that music education should not only cultivate students' musical talents, but also cultivate talents with comprehensive cultural quality and all-round development through music education. As Guan Jianhua pointed out in the book "At the Turn of the Century: Music Education in China and Music Education in the World": "From the perspective of music education in developed countries today," aesthetic education "and" technology "are no longer the goals of music, but the goal of music education is mainly the development of people. For example, in 1970s, Germany changed the goal of music education from "works of art" to "music in culture".
The six aspects emphasized by the United States on the basis of music education also define music as culture. These six aspects include: learning music is a basic form of learning human communication, learning music is a process of learning, learning music is a foundation of learning, learning music is an art, which is the basic idea of contemporary music anthropology, and cultural understanding will become one of the goals of music education.
This concept of music education urges us to reflect on traditional music teaching, and also provides us with a new perspective of music teaching, that is, to re-examine our music teaching from the perspectives of music thinking, emotion and culture. If we can teach students to think on the basis of mastering certain music knowledge and skills, enrich the emotional experience of music through music thinking, and feel and understand music in the cultural background, then we can better play the various functions and functions of music and promote the all-round development of children.
In the new century, we should be good at guiding children to learn music creatively, which is not only an important way to appreciate music, but also an effective way to cultivate children's innovative consciousness and creativity. In the process of music teaching, we should stimulate children to think positively and put forward their own different opinions boldly, so as to create conditions for them to express themselves and embody their individuality, and let them give full play to their imagination and creativity in games and pleasure.
Reflections on music reading 7
The name of the book I read today is Musicians in Bremen. This book is about a donkey. It is old and can't work. The farmer wanted to sell it, so he ran out. It thinks it has a good voice and wants to be a musician in Bremen.
Along the way, it met a dog, a cat and a rooster. They are too old to work, so the master doesn't want them. The donkey said: cats can meow, dogs can bark, roosters can crow, and they can form a band. Later, they met some robbers who were having a big meal. They scared away the robbers and lived happily together. This story is really interesting. I think donkeys are very kind. It can think with its head.
