Although Tianjin Binhai New Area is in great need of foreign investment, the environmental protection threshold for attracting investment will never be lowered. They put forward the slogan of "green investment promotion", and set the access indicators of waste gas, waste water, noise, hazardous waste, water consumption, energy consumption and material consumption according to different regional functional divisions and different industries, and resolutely control the source of the project. In TEDA, a series of environmental protection infrastructure such as sewage treatment plant, electroplating wastewater treatment center, reclaimed water reuse project and garbage incineration power plant have been built one after another. In Tanggu District, an area of more than 5,850 mu of alkali residue mountain was completely eradicated, and 2.3 million square meters were relocated, 6,543.8+04.6 million cubic meters of engineering soil was made, and 50,000 square meters of abandoned salt ponds were buried. Mountain parks, schools, landscape rivers and a number of residential areas with beautiful environment were initially built. Tianjin Binhai New Area is building four circular economy industrial chains: petrochemical, automobile, metallurgy, electric power and seawater desalination. By 20 10, the energy consumption per unit of GDP will be reduced by more than 20%, the new water consumption will be reduced by 30%, and the comprehensive utilization rate of industrial solid waste will reach 95%.
