As far as junior high school mathematics teachers are concerned, the scope we are involved in should naturally be based on the education, teaching and scientific research information of junior high school mathematics, but we should also take into account the mathematics of senior high school and primary school, as well as the information of computer, physics, chemistry and other related disciplines.
There are various forms of information, which can be roughly divided into three categories: (1) written forms, such as books, newspapers and periodicals; (2) Oral forms, such as various meetings, lectures, exchanges and consultations; (3) Electronic forms, such as information on the Internet, CDs and floppy disks.
Different forms of information have their own merits, some are authoritative, some are timely, some are targeted, and some are informative.

Where do these materials come from? How to find these materials? The answer is the old saying, "Pay attention everywhere and you will learn."

Junior high school math teachers are all engaged in front-line teaching, who know the puzzles and happiness in teaching best, the students' ideas and opinions best, and the most direct practice and reform, which are beyond the reach of experts, scholars and departments specializing in education and scientific research.
For this reason, most of the papers of front-line teachers come from practice, which are practical and targeted. We should fully understand these advantages and maintain and develop them.
Recently, I am in charge of the research work of "Cultivating Students' Creative Thinking Ability", a sub-topic of "Innovative Education" in Hebei Province, which is also a hot topic in the current education field. I wrote my phased research results into a paper "Common Methods of Cultivating Students' Creative Thinking Ability", and participated in the paper selection of the "Tenth Annual Meeting of National Junior Middle School Mathematics Education" held in Beijing in August 2000, and won the second prize.
For another example, some "cold spots" in teaching are not common, but once they appear, students cannot intervene. Based on this, Fengjun Li and I co-authored the article How to Judge the Pythagorean Number, which was published in the second issue of Educational Practice and Research in 2000.
How to create new ideas in papers? I think two points are very important: first, the theme is novel and the perspective is unique; Second, in time, the consciousness is ahead and the creation is timely.
Take the research of senior high school entrance examination questions as an example: The senior high school entrance examination in Hebei Province ended on June 22nd, and I immediately analyzed the senior high school entrance examination questions from the perspective of examining students' creative thinking ability. In July, he finished the creation of "Paying Attention to Examining Students' Creative Thinking Ability —— Analysis of Mathematics Test Questions in Hebei Senior High School Entrance Examination in 2000" and sent it to Mathematics for Primary and Secondary Schools (Junior Middle School Teachers Edition), which was published in 20065438+. Generally, the compilation materials of senior high school entrance examination questions in all parts of China were published as early as June 65438+ 10. Through research, I found that the inequality application problems in the exam questions of1June, 1998 sprang up suddenly, and the low score rate of candidates in that year will surely attract the attention of teachers and students in the future. In view of this new trend, I wrote an example of inequality (group) application in senior high school entrance examination in June 165438+ 10.
Fourth, it takes a process from small to capitalized papers, step by step, step by step, and it is impossible to do it overnight. According to the general situation, remind the first author to try the following two steps: the first step is to practice writing study guidance articles.
Over the past few years, I have published dozens of articles on learning guidance in newspapers such as Learning, Juvenile Intelligence Development and Junior High School Students Weekly.
Although these are not generally called "papers", writing in this way can be used not only as writing exercises, but also as teaching and a small research project.
Learning guidance newspapers and periodicals are aimed at the majority of students, usually with a large amount of contributions and fast publication; Its content is focused, simple and flexible; The manuscript is required to be short and pithy, generally around 1000 words; It is required to synchronize with the teaching, and the manuscript should be sent three months ahead of the teaching progress; Writing should also analyze the trend of using manuscripts. At present, there are many manuscripts in senior grades, few in junior grades, many in comprehensive knowledge and few in single knowledge. At present, beginners can tend to write "less" drafts; After the manuscript is written, it should be revised repeatedly to ensure that it is correct, and then copied or printed and sent.
The second step is to write teaching and research papers, focusing on the practical research of problem-solving methods, from shallow to deep, and don't rush to write papers that are too theoretical.
We can explore the problem-solving skills first, then explore the thinking method, then delve into the quality and ability, then analyze the proposition principle and predict the trend.
If you write some theoretical articles, you can find new topics that adapt to the development trend of education from teaching practice, such as the article "Talking about the Teaching of Calculators" published in the ninth issue of Mathematics for Primary and Secondary Schools (Junior Middle School Teachers Edition) at 200 1, which is an attempt in this regard.
It should be pointed out that the scope of a paper is not wide, but it needs to be thoroughly analyzed and concise; The paper is not long, and everyone knows more or less, but enough is enough. In my opinion, the reading level of readers is mainly suitable for teachers to read, and the length of papers varies. As far as my published papers are concerned, it is just a thousand words, nearly seven thousand words, and generally around three thousand words; Compared with learning guidance articles, the format of these papers is much more standardized, but the requirements of synchronization with teaching are more relaxed; In order to improve the publication rate, we should carefully study the style of newspapers, pay attention to new columns and essays, and dare to question and refute the problems found.
Five, extracurricular kung fu, improve the cultivation of extracurricular kung fu, mainly refers to a person's ideological realm, personal cultivation, will and character. It is reflected in two aspects:
On the one hand, pay attention to morality and don't pay too much attention to fame and fortune.
Be sure to keep your promise, especially to write the manuscript according to the contract, and be sure to be timely and prompt, with good quality and quantity; If there are many manuscripts, you can also write more articles for editors to choose from; In order to avoid the loss of letters, the manuscript can be sent by registered mail, and sometimes it needs to be sent by express delivery, fax or email.
At present, many units (even some individuals) take advantage of teachers' eagerness to publish papers and collect "self-help papers" in various names, which should be treated with caution. We shouldn't just write some worthless words and spend money to publish them for fame and fortune.
More than one manuscript is generally caused by more than one manuscript. If you don't receive the manuscript notice, sample report or manuscript fee within the agreed time, it is understandable to re-submit it to other journals and cause repeated publication. However, some people send manuscripts to several newspapers at the same time, and even if they know that they have been hired, they will vote for another newspaper. I began to accumulate materials from 1996, and constantly consciously consolidated my basic skills. It lasted for more than a year until 1997.
