Global translation is called NAT.

If your server provides services to the outside world, the port number must be a public service port and fixed. Just do port mapping.

Global mapping is mostly used for surfing the internet, and external users can't actively access internal users. Because there is no port, the outside cannot locate which machine accesses the inside.
