According to the provisions of Chapter I of the Regulations on Judicial Police of People's Courts, the specific work of bailiffs is as follows:
Article 1 These Regulations are formulated in accordance with the Civil Service Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), the Organization Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) and the People's Police Law of the People's Republic of China for the purpose of strengthening the construction and scientific management of the judicial police team in the people's courts and ensuring the judicial police to exercise their functions and powers according to law.
Article 2 The judicial police of the people's court is one of the police types of China people and China people's police.
Article 3 The task of the judicial police of the people's courts is to prevent, stop and punish illegal and criminal acts that hinder trial activities, maintain trial order and ensure the smooth progress of trial work.
Article 4 the Supreme People's Court shall lead the judicial police work of local people's courts at all levels and special courts, and the people's courts at higher levels shall lead the judicial police work of the people's courts at lower levels.
Article 5 The judicial police of the people's courts must take the Constitution and laws as their activity criteria, serve the people wholeheartedly, be loyal to their duties, be honest and upright, obey orders and strictly enforce the law.
Article 6 The judicial police of the people's courts perform their duties according to law and are protected by law.

According to the provisions of the Organic Law of the People's Court and the Regulations on Judicial Police of the People's Court, the judicial police of the People's Court include:
(1) Maintaining the trial order;
(2) Conduct safety inspection on personnel entering the test area;
(3) Escorting and guarding defendants or criminals in criminal trials, calling witnesses and expert witnesses and transmitting evidence;
(four) in the implementation of effective legal documents, cooperate with the implementation of compulsory measures, and take compulsory measures according to law when necessary;
(five) the death penalty;
(six) to assist the agency in handling complaints about safety and emergencies;
(seven) the execution of summons, detention and other compulsory measures;
(eight) other duties as prescribed by laws and regulations.
