The puzzle that Kung Fu Panda series movies have been asking is the life story of Po, but in the third animation, the true identity of Po's father is revealed. Po's father's name is Li Shan, and Po's real name is Li Lianhua.

Li Shan is Po's biological father. Not only does he have the same body shape as Po, many years ago, because of lord shen's invasion, Shan Li was separated from his wife and children and lived in seclusion in Panda Village. He learned that Po was still alive, so he embarked on a long way to find a son. Li Shan and Po look alike, not only obese, but also have an amazing appetite. Most importantly, he hates stairs, too. He took Po to Panda Village, hoping to live with his son Po.
